I haven't pulled anything apart, but cranked the regulator to minimum pressure and the generator appears to be working normally. Thank you to all of that gave comments and suggestions!

Thank you! I will check the voltage when cranking. When I replaced it, I did not see any debris & did not touch the surface where the plunger rests. I will take pictures when I get chance to further troubleshoot.

While I'm waiting for the gauge to arrive, does anyone know what voltage is supposed to be feeding the solenoid? Is it 12 vdc? Also, would it hurt to wipe the area where the plunger sits & seals to with alcohol, just in case it got something sticky on it, which could be holding the plunger down?

Guess I really need to check the pressures...Regularly scheduled Monday exercise = OVERCRANK Error. Again, while cranking, tap the solenoid with a screwdriver handle, fires right. Guessing gas pressure issue or the wiring to the solenoid has a break somewhere.

Plunger looked like it had wear marks on it. I'll take pictures later, when I get chance. Kid has a softball game this morning... Good copy on measuring the pressures, when I get a gauge.
