Septic field vs shop slab question (info gathering)

True but he is trying to find the location of the leach field. How old is the house? Try finding the builder he may know or have info on who did septic system. Usually the field isn't that far from tank, looking at your photo seems it wouldn't be much further than what looks like a fence. It...

No stupid questions , only stupid people asking questions...ha I'm kidding, so many choices with lighting. Have you tried the Visual lighting tool you can plug in the IES file on your space and see what lighting works? I've been told on here at 16' and lower you really don't want to go over 20K...

DON'T do this. Might also check to see if the attic can support a bunch of storage items, just because you can doesn't mean you should.

    Height for loft

What is the loft for, storage or second room? If the main floor is 8' for headroom then about 1' is needed for floor joists, then another 8' for the second. That gives you 17' to the eve or bottom chord, but at that eve point your insulation space is limited for a foot or so until the rise of...

Garage lighting issue - canopy light glare

Do the new ones have a frosted lens? That would be the best, maybe you can order one. You have looked at film that would be your cheapest solution, maybe do one or two and test it. If the lens is clear with a dimmer you will still have some glare.

Bathroom door casing material - wood or PVC

I've rarely had issues with a real wood product as long as it is painted and either paint the bottom so not to wick up water or leave an 1/8" gap and caulk. If it is getting wet from shower curtain or such, PVC is a good choice but profiles are limited.

How many LED shop lights per circuit?

Taken from IAEI magazine... The next big change in GFCI requirements came with the expansion within dwellings. Similar to the measurement clarification, this expansion also has roots in a 2017 revision. For NEC-2017, a revision was made that saw GFCI protection go beyond just 15- and 20-amp...

    Help removing wire From Conduit

Well good you got it out, I was told by a couple electricians not all wire lube is created equal. The stuff at Lowes "Ideal" wire lube will actually harden after use and get sticky that could have been part of the problem.

    Garage Floor Loading

I think 4" is usually good for 8000lbs easy. On the low end concrete would be 2500# PSI, most sidewalk/driveway is 3000psi in my experience. So if your rig is 50/50 weight distribution (which is doubtful) that would be about 3000 pounds at each tire. The tire contact patch would spread that...
