Rapid Air Tubing won't seal up

This is not knock off material. I've purchase additional fitting from Rapid Air. I do question if the inside diameter of the Blue Tube isn't what it should be and is pushing the O -rings out of that groove. I think that is the problem and that is what to care of Nota4re connections. I've...

Rapid Air Tubing won't seal up

f I am re-posting this portion of conversations because I believe that this is my problem but I am not sure if his solution is so good. Expanding this material and then having it shrink back so that it will fit is ????? "It is imperative to have the Max Line fit over the o-rings with out...

Rapid Air Tubing won't seal up

I'll try to get a picture of what I have here. I am not very good at doing that. I'll try though. I also have a call into Rapid Air Tech line. I'll probably get some input on Monday. They are pretty good about replying

Rapid Air Tubing won't seal up

I like your analysis. And I think you are right. I am thinking about getting the expander tool, but since it seems like no one else has done this there is not recommendation by Rapid Air. I wonder if it safe or wise to go this.

Rapid Air Tubing won't seal up

I have lot of fitting that I never used. I looked at each one and on line it shows two 0 rings on fitting treads. Not the treads where the outside nut is use to compress together. Why could you not use more then the two 0rings? What damage could that do.

Rapid Air Tubing won't seal up

I disagree with you on this one. It may have slipped on easily for you, but not for me. Making me question, the inside diameter of the tube. I've seen the rings move when pushing on the tube.

Rapid Air Tubing won't seal up

Nota4re has brought up something that is very real. I've been very very careful to slip the blue tub over those O-rings when making the connection. After having leaks (and I've had my share) and taking apart I've noticed that the rings have moved from where they were. So now I am of the belief...

Rapid Air Tubing won't seal up

Thanks for taking the time to read and explain. I am somewhat at a loss too. I won't give up. I'll get it sooner or later with help from people like you. As far as blowing that connection off, I'm thinking that I may have screwed up. In reading several of the comments on how to stop the...

Rapid Air Tubing won't seal up

Well for the third time I've taken apart the T-fitting , tube, and tube to pipe connection so that I mate with the compressor. I only had a small leak at the fitting from tube to iron pipe. No matter how hard i tightened it wouldn't stop leaking. I was testing with about 50 PSI. I then...

Rapid Air Tubing won't seal up

First of all, thanks to Rapid Air tech. He called withing hours of my request. He assured me that they will seal and that i probably didn't have the tube all the way tight into the fitting. He also said that yes you can over tighten and break the ring. He told me to take it apart and try...

Rapid Air Tubing won't seal up

I just finished installing my Rapid Air 3/4 inch air system. I kept the connections down to a minimum to avoid air leaks. So I have just one T-fitting and two manifolds at the end of the lines. I cannot get the T-fitting to stop leaking air. There isn't any rocket science here but I'm still...

MC connector sizing, here we go again.

I cannot believe how much variation there is with MC connectors between 3/8 and 1/2 inch. I have a 8/3 MC cable and cannot find a connector to fit properly. The 3/8 with a screw to attach cable won't go on. i can't find 1/2 in the same style. The 1/2 squeeze fitting is way to large and won't...
