Do Tool Companies Intentionally Hire People that Know Nothing About Tools?

I have yet to see anything that says that the customer they are targeting actually is the same customer op thinks they are. The only place I've seen mention of an application is where it says works great for woodworking. It's like complaining that Chevy won't make the Corvette have a high enough...

    Sawzall Choice?

Well, only Milwaukee makes a sawzall, so there's your first issue. I have only used the DeWalt compact design, so no comparison to other brands. No complaints about it though. It wasn't significantly better or worse than my older DeWalt, or not enough for me to replace it anyway. If you need...

Protective shield for AC line set

But isn't it going to look weird if only part of it is covered?

Protective shield for AC line set

For a run along a wall, I think I prefer the style that is basically a box tube. Then at the end of that, where the lines leave the wall and head for the compressor, it switches to a flexible covering of some sort.

Just confirming other’s experiences, Wright no longer has a meaningful Warranty for their tools.

I use my tools. Not every day, but often. Enough to say I use them "much". I don't generally give a **** about the warranty on hand tools. Even if there's a warranty, if I break a wrench today, I probably need that wrench today. I'm not going to wait 2 weeks for a mfr to evaluate it to decide...

Just confirming other’s experiences, Wright no longer has a meaningful Warranty for their tools.

Op says it looks like a defect, but that's exactly what you'd expect somebody to say who's trying to get warranty coverage on something. Even moreso if they were on a forum complaining that they couldn't get it warrantied. Maybe wright looked at it, said there were signs of abuse, and denied the...

Do Tool Companies Intentionally Hire People that Know Nothing About Tools?

You keep saying this sander is for the auto body market but the description says wood projects. Where do you get the idea that the intended market is auto body? Do you just not read the description and then make up your own?

    Need help and advice

Doesn't say skill saw; says electric hand saw. 🤷‍♂️ Maybe post pics of the brushes? I'm not sure if they are available specifically for that saw but sometimes others can be adapted or made of they aren't.

    Should I get a plasma cutter/will I use it

Dammit! I wired mine wrong. It's wired for 240v, not 220! Or since I have 240, does that mean I'm getting more cutting power from it?
