    'Precision' shadetree bending

I have a set just for the welding bench. They get used for a bunch of stuff. I guess the gage blocks in the op are also the junk ones too. I wouldn't use good ones as a stop for a press.

wow diamond blades don't last long

I'm going to guess that the people doing this every day are not buying their blades at harbor freight. I could be wrong though

    Should I get a plasma cutter/will I use it

If this is something that ends up being used twice a year, is a warranty really that important? If it fails on the third use and the warranty is already expired, it didn't really do much for you. At least with the cheap ones, if it fails, it's just a throwaway thing anyway. You just buy another one

    Should I get a plasma cutter/will I use it

Just run the retaining cap against a guide. It's 1" OD, IIRC, so it's easy to figure out how far away you need to be.

    Repairing aluminum

Looks like it's right where the drop out begins so yeah it might be heavier there

    Repairing aluminum

I sure don't see one of those restoring the strength lost with the material that appears to be missing. Or is it just dented? Bike frames are not usually very thick.

    Should I get a plasma cutter/will I use it

A plasma cutter certainly could do that job. You may find that once you start cutting into it, by the time you get to good metal you've cut away 90% of the trailer. Btw, they do make or at least used to make plasma cutters with built-in compressors. As a plasma cutter, I don't think they were...

    Camper wiring

George Washington probably had roll up Windows and no power steering and no air conditioning and a manual transmission and a hand crank to start!

    Camper wiring

Well up until the pic of a light switch you really didn't answer that question. Given the application, finally guessed by pcustoms, I would recommend a barrel switch. It'll handle the current. It's a deliberate action to switch one way or the other. You can get as many poles as you want. If...

    Lock and Lube

What we need is a rant thread by manufacturers ranting about customers insisting on them warranting stuff that isn't theirs! (... if that turns out to be the case here) I wonder if this is what op is referencing. It's not a relief valve, though, so maybe not. Op has never posted pics of the...

    Camper wiring

That would have been good info to put in the op. Changes the options a lot. So are you stuck on that style of switch? Because I don't think you're going to find what you are after in that style of switch. If you aren't stuck on that, lots of workable options have been suggested.

    Camper wiring

Like a "normal" light switch? Toggle and rocker switches do exist like that. I haven't seen something like a light switch like that but you could wire it to a contactor

    Lock and Lube

Maybe it's time to give up and just get a knock off from Amazon. I just ordered a new mini grease gun with a similar locking mechanism for $20. It'll be here in 2 business days, on Monday.

Funny 1 star Amazon tool reviews

I used to have a friend who was a big fan of plugged in online. She told me about the site and aside from it being a bit of a spoiler, it was great for finding all the movies with cussing, violence, and ****** to go see. She being "a bit" of a Bible thumper, was not impressed.

    Jumper cable/Charger clamps

The thing that gets me is we go to great lengths to get bigger cables, bigger clamps, etc, and for good reason, but the clamp is still generally only making contact in a very small area.

    Miter saw dust collection

Thanks for the recommendation. Aluminum chips don't generally stay in the air though like sawdust. I do see where it this was hooked up to dust collection it probably would get most of it. I didn't know this existed before so I have something to research

Nice looking shelves. Not original. Yes, done frequently. Lots of Internet examples. But nice looking job.
