I purchased the unit form eComfort out of the Chicago area. Shipping was free and no taxes. They seemed to be in line with the other quotes I received. In fact they were the best quote for the unit I purchased with accessories. Really looking forward to getting this installed.

Normally, you 'burnish' electrical contacts to try and restore them. Which is basically a very fine file. If they are burned too badly you will have to replace them.

The dual heat Weller is a very good general purpose soldering gun and I have one. However, they are not good for some of the finer soldering required on PCB's. In this day you have to have several different soldering guns/irons to get by. Weller generally makes some of the best soldering irons...

Kitty Litter works well. However, it is important to take a mallet and tap on the Kitty Litter crushing it into the concrete thereby forcing the small particles into the concrete to soak up as much oil as possible. Just be sure to rub that Kitty Kitter in real good. Let the Kitty Litter stay on...

I finally finished the restoration of my Emmert Turtle Vise and found a place to mount it. The two front dogs were broken so I made new ones from brass stock. The Turtle Vise works great and will make a great addition to my garage. :3gears:

WARNING! WARNING! My latest find. I just found these two Emmert Pattern Makers Vises. Paid $150 for each one. The Emmert TurtleBack just needs a good cleaning. The newer Emmert is in very good condition.

Might be a loose connection. Check your connection at any wire nuts if used. Other than that just logically walk it through till you find the discontinuity. Good Luck
