Is it possible that a Snap On KRA-53 would not have a KRA code stamped on the back? I just bought what looks to be a 53. I cannot see any stamping on back side.

Here is a pic of the deeper center drawer, it looks to have the same slide placement as the smaller drawers. So two smaller drawers could have been originally in place instead of the center deep drawer. Yes probably a frankenbox, I plan to clean it up and use it at work to store the German tools...

More photos of it here. It is 26”side, the slides look very similar to Snap On slides. It looks like there may have been an emblem on the front bottom right corner as there are two holes there. I have searched google images and eBay but haven’t found one like it.

I have on opportunity to buy a Cornwell mechanics chest serial # 47705, What would the approximate age of this box be? Did Corwell manufacture these or rebadge another makers box? Any info would be appreciated.

I am interested in getting a welder suitable for welding in patch panels for rust repair on cars and trucks. I am not an experienced welder so I will be learning this as I go. My only welding experience was shop class in high school. What would be a good entry level welder for this type of work?
