I had my garage floor poured with new concrete last Thursday. Then one week later I'm out replacing the molding around the garage door and I left saw dust on the ground overnight. Now it's stained the apron leading up to the garage floor. The apron was dry on top, the garage floor was mostly...

small parts organizer & storage reviews

So I'm starting this new thread because I go crazy for good small parts storage and organizing. Hopefully people will add in what they find as well. To create a good small parts box, there are a few things to judge: 1. size & number of compartments or removable bins? 2. latches, quality and...

details on shipping costs / tax for Nepros ?

Does anyone have experience with import tax on Nepros? Is there a dollar amount that gets through without the tax? Is it 3% if customs does tax you? I'd be interested in buying some but not sure if I should separate the order or do one big one?

I give up.... time to replace my garage slab

I've got 3 days of work into prepping and fixing my old garage floor in hopes of doing porcelain tile over it, and now I'm over it. In my 20x20 garage, there's about 60 feet of cracks, delamination within the concrete, efflorescence, and very much not flat or level. I power washed it yesterday...

    Heyco tools anyone?

I'm interested in that tiny headed ratchet from Heyco. Any thoughts on where the best place to buy one is? I found some guy in the US that sells them, but I'm afraid his price would be higher than a direct place from Europe. I see some of their sockets are distributed through Wiha, but not...

ever considered a nitrogen tank instead of compressor?

I've toyed with the idea of buying 1 or 2 nitrogen tanks and using those instead of a compressor. They are silent, have no moisture or dirt, take no electricity and can supply quite a bit of air. They aren't expensive to refill. What are your thoughts on this idea?

nemodifying my tool chest - needs a top pull handle?

The top of my tool chest has no handle and as such it's not that easy to pull up. The drawers lock when its down and I was hoping not to have to leave it up all the time. So two things, 1. Do many people somehow disconnect the locking bar? 2. What have people done for handles on the top?
