About to order some pluck foam for the first time for a project! Wondering, what do you when your case is smaller than the foam you are ordering, say if in this example, my case is 15"x11", then would I hafta lose that "solid outer border" (highlighed in yellow), and the square foam pieces...

(Update...you all (who said this method is inaccurate) are correct, I just tried using the "open hose" with a vacuum gauge, all of the crankshaft timing marks "appeared" to be TDC, and as @rust in the eye pointed out, turning the crank that slowly near the end doesn't move the needle that much...

Man, I'm off (today)! I get it, provided the valves/seats are sealing, no air will make it up to the stem seals! (What if you supplied air on the intake and exhaust strokes? Would that reveal a valve stem seal leak?)
