For your purpose, you certain you don't want a floody light? I find spot/search lights of little use when taking the dog out to the yard for his nightly constitutional, and even less useful as work lights. Of course you can turn any spot/search light into a floody light with a little DC Fix...

Do you find the advertised-as-new batteries on eBay are of recent manufacture? I've seen some advice on this thread saying it's smart to buy batteries from an authorized dealer that turns over stock rapidly, such as HD...plus, the warrantee runs from the date purchased, not date mfgd...

Regards the brushless/fuel vs brushed conversation I started by asking about the angle drill...are some of you actually avoiding brushless/fuel because you prefer brushed? Your thinking is that you'd prefer (potentially) less expensive maintenance?
