Um does it help that i know of ways to get multiple accounts to bid up your own auctions? Its common practice amongst the big sellers. Sometimes you miss, but usually worth it for the individual seller. eBay doesnt give a ****.

Ok, wow. I have been reading this thread for a week. I have never imagined it being possible to accomplish the amount of work you have done. Amazing. The property is amazing. Lots of treasures, lots of space, and a superb job on the restoration. Epic accomplishment.

You also don't have to go porcelain. You can go regular ceramic. You will have more color options. Jack Olsen has ceramic, and he has a vid with a 5lb sledge hitting the tile trying to break it. The camera jumped, tile lived. Screw rectified. Don't worry about the grout line. You will be fine.

That looks great. We need some shots from the outside to get the feel of the space. Yea it took me a month to do my 440sq ft. Nights and weekends only. So I know how you must feel with 1500 sq ft. I also used the cheapest everything, except the grout.

I like a little glue when doing something like this. But if they are coated, your glue is mostly a waste. PL premium is what I like. It sets up quick, but not that quick. And yes, nails, screws will snap, while nails bend. Or the right screw.

Once you have weight on it, I don't see a reason that it would move. But doesn't that type of lift require you to bolt it down? I see holes in the bottom plate. Just drill through the tile, and secure it. Now, if someone gave me a lift like that. I guarantee that I would break out the floor...
