    Festool ts55 **** a brick. Crying.

Ok so update. Found a dealer locally that delivered it. Same day. Yea baby. $660 hand delivered. Took my busted saw. Said seems motor, not the brush part, is most likely fried. Normal for my amount of service. So he took saw, said festool will call when ready. I told them to fix no matter what...

    Festool ts55 **** a brick. Crying.

I was just saying warantee because what if there is something that I don't know. Please don't troll me. So they got back to me via email right away. I got a link to fill out a repair order, and will try to send it out in the next day or two. I ordered a replacement from Bob Marino. That is...

Porcelain tile shopping list & tips

When i finished all my tiles, i tapped each one. I found 2 with voids. I mixed up a very watery thinset/grout mixture and let it flow in. Fixed it up quite well. Doubt this is feasable for an entire floor.

Porcelain tile shopping list & tips

It all depends what the plan, and how the tiles will land by the drain. It is one of those areas that you need to play with for a bit. The cuts will make it a focal point, just because it will not look uniform, so you need to come to terms with that right away. It is also hard to judge how it...

Rookie finally laying porcelain tile in my single

I too like to lay out tiles, the row, and column, dry. Gives you a visual of where the screw up is going to happen. And you done good. Going to be a floor that will last for ever, and now just watch out of people tripping over themselves when they look into your garage, if it is close to the...

Doing good. Mix small, like smaller than you think you need, and keep adding whatever you need to get the "right mix". I think you did what I did the first time. I thought I could do the whole tiled area one shot. No way bud. I have a 3.5 year old, and a 1.5 year old. You are not going to get...

    My 2-Car Porcelain Tile Install....

It will just cure longer. I did my garage when it was freezing outside. I tried to keep the doors closed. I have a steam pipe running through it, so it stays about 60 F in there. The only tiles that gave me issues, were the ones by the side door. All 3 against the door popped up over night...

Good progress. Cute inspector. I wouldn't worry about the slivers by the wall at this point. You are not a pro, and even a pro wouldn't be shoving slivers in. A pro would screw with the layout, shift entire layout to cut full tiles instead of getting stuck with slivers, or even change the...

I think someone is late to the party. Especially since there are a few Pros advising the OP on the project. People don't freak out reading the above. There are times when a wet saw aint gonna cut it. A score snap cutter is my preferred method for basic straight cuts. When you cut out a perfect...
