I agree on the 24' depth, but I get by with a 22 wide by 20 deep garage with 2 cars in it and 30" deep work bench and shelves on side, tight but doable, bigger is always better. good building and wish I could do what you are thinking of, I can only add a 14' wide by 25' long on to my existing...

all the toyota's I have had have plastic blades and have had them break, but never come off as I heard them before total failure....will watch closely from now on when working on running engine. had to be horrific for the wife to find him that way, or any way for that matter.

I meant 12' not 12 inches .... lol hard to find anything to fit under a 12 inch roof.

what do you think of this idea, stick build with metal walls and roof (maybe shingles) will insulate inside and cover with sheet rock and will have home type insulated garage door, 12" walls with small slope on roof. and one end will be covered by brick as it faces front of house ...comments...

after you have the pad poured to meet 3500 psi, how do you know/test to be sure it meets the specs lift maker required. thanks.

guess I had some things confused in my mind....pole and stick are both wood right? I was thinking pole was metal. next question is the mesh or rebar better? Most 2-post lift companies told me 4" of 3500 concrete fine....your thoughts on that? last question, is a wood structure stronger...

other than being able to open doors better what are the difference between the two and what are the pros and cons of each, any cost difference..thanks for the facts which will help me decide which I need. I will use to lift corvette, 1/2 ton chevy ext cab truck and several toyota cars.
