    Tekton Folding Ratchet

So this ratchet has a flex handle with a 180 degree swing arc, just like any other flex ratchet. Only they moved the arc around 90 degrees so the handle can fold over the back of the ratchet head, at the cost of losing the ability to flex the handle downwards under the front of the ratchet head...

Post your neatest most unique ratchets

This is my most used ratchet. The ratchet itself is nothing special, but the handle is one of the few examples of this style that I've seen. It's shaped like a soft grip handle, but it's hard plastic. I'm pretty sure they don't make that style handle anymore, and didn't for very long. Shortly...

    Not Cheap Pocket Knives

I've never carried a pocket knife on a regular (or even semi- regular) basis, but had recently been talking with a friend about them and he highly regards his Benchmade blade. Couple that with the recent discussions on this forum, and that led me to spend the weekend browsing through their...

Gauge steel to use on a stand for 300lbs?

If you're trying to not overbuild something, I believe you've come to the wrong place. That said, I'm on the square tubing bandwagon here.

those pesky bellhouse bolts on GMs

I have a Snap On T55 that I bought for those. It hasn't broke on me, but I'm not pulling 4L60e bellhousings off all day either. I don't know what they do to those things to make them so difficult to remove.

    Is this die grinder broken?

In my opinion, the big *** wrenches that Milwaukee includes with the die grinder lends itself to over-tightening the collet, which gets it jammed in the spindle. With that said, the last time I was using mine, I apparently didn't tighten it enough and my bit fell out of the grinder. :bitchslap

    Is this die grinder broken?

The collet is just jammed in there. You should be able to yank it out with a pair of pliers or something. The collet on my Milwaukee die grinder is kind of sticky too. Edit- Well you beat me to it...

So I've been eyeballing the M18 Wet/dry vac for a while. CPO Outlet currently has it on sale for $97. Is that a solid deal or should I wait for something better? https://www.cpooutlets.com/milwaukee-0880-20-m18-18v-lithium-ion-2-gallon-wet-dry-vacuum--tool-only-/miln0880-20.html I also noticed...

While I do prefer a QR ratchet, it's not a deal breaker for me either way.

    Buy/Pass: Blue Point 10" Vise Grips = $29

Yes, I was referring to the Blue Point. I still have them, but I rarely use them because every time I do, it's a wrestling match to get them to release.

    Buy/Pass: Blue Point 10" Vise Grips = $29

I don't know if they've changed since, but about 10 years ago I bought a 5 or 6 piece set of them when I was working as an auto mechanic. They're terrible. If you try to lock on anything reasonably tight, the handle arms will twist out of alignment and bind up the lock release.
