I'm not saying you are wrong, but I don't know how that would work, and it isn't shaped like any strap wrenches I have ever seen.

Could it be some type of puller? Such as Romex? My Grandpa was in construction but also had a farm, so maybe that will help narrow it down.

It would be awfully heavy for that. It is pretty hefty steel, and there really isn't any pocket for anything to sit in.

I would also add leanto's on each side of the exterior. One to park implements and my tractor and mower and the other side for blacksmithing.
