    Bandsaw blade thickness

I have an old bandsaw that is supposed to use a 1/2" x .0196 x 64.5" blade. Well it appears standard blades come in .020 and .025 thickness. The .020 is nearly exact, and the .025 is only 5 thousandths thicker. Will either work? Should I stick with the .020 ? Or does it matter? Thanks
