Big (23mm plus) Metric Wrench Set

I have a few sets of metric wrenches up to 19-22mm but have nothing above other than crowsfeet which are not ideal sometimes. Looking for recommendations on a set that starts somewhere around 19-22mm and goes up to ? idk maybe 32-40mm? Thanks

    Flush Cut End Nippers

I use flush cutters a lot for zip ties, I have a bunch but my current favourite is a pair of Knipex. However I think a set of flush cutters with a end cutter configuration would be very nice to have and even more practical in most circumstances. Do these exist and if so what are your experiences?

    Genius Ratchets ?

Any one have experience with the Genius ratchets? This one caught my eye because of the hard handle. I have some screwdrivers with the same handle and it’s comfortable and durable. I’m also curious if it’s a quick detach?

Gearwrench 3/8 6pt Deep Metric Broach Depth

Random question: Does anyone know if the Gearwrench Deep 6pt Metric sockets have a shallow broach like snap on and some others or are they more of a deep broach?

    Magnifying Headset

Not sure if my terminology is correct but I'm looking to upgrade from a VERY cheap headband w/ magnifier lenses to something a little better. Here is a picture from amazon showing what I mean. I'm not opposed to getting something like above but wondering if there might be something a bit...

    My Snap-On Hard Handle Conversion

I have a strong preference in ratchets. Snap-On Dual 80s with quick release, flex head, long handle with hard handle. However Snap-On doesn't sell this configuration(hard handles with QR) I have two 1/4" versions if this, one with the "long" handle and another "extra long". I've obtained these...

Help me pick a new 1/2 flex head ratchet

I broke my Gearwrench 90T 1/2" locking flexhead last week while busting brake caliper bracket bolts on a F350. The locking mech now wont lock the head and it just flops around everywhere. Honestly I don't care for the GW flex heads at all, when I get it back or a new one from warranty I will be...

    Milwaukee ratchet head repair

I have a first gen(I think it's a first gen) M12 3/8 ratchet. Part # 2457-20 Awhile back the head stopped spinning. I took it apart trying to find something broken but everything seemed fine, just gunked up. So I cleaned everything and put it back together. Then it worked again for about 6...

Tools for F350 Front End Work?

I have some working coming up on my F350 with a Carli lift . I've done this in the past on other 1 ton trucks with a pickle fork and BFH but I'm getting too old for that. Looking for suggestions on a front end service kit (currently looking at OTC) and whatever else might be useful. I'm not...

    Cabinet Air Compressor?

I’m in the market for a new compressor in my home shop. Considering this this one due to its low noise (56db) and the small footprint. I’ve never seen a small cabinet style compressor before. I would love to know who makes it for them...

    Battery Cable Crimper

I do a lot of electrical and own probably a dozen sets of crimpers. However I’m not set up to crimp anything bigger than 10ga. When ever I need to have a heavy gauge crimp done I just go to the local car audio place and have them do it for me. It’s only a coupes times a year at most. I...

Astro vs Tekton Chrome Swivel Sockets?

I've come across the need for swivel sockets enough times that I've decided to pick up a set. As a home DIY guy I can't justify a tool truck brand for something I'll use so little. Mostly working on motorcycles so looking at metric 1/4". Have it narrowed down to Astro or Tekton. Here in Canada...

Good 118 deg chisel tip drill set

I’m on a hunt for a good quality set of 118 deg chisel tip drills. I only really need the #1-60 “wire gauge” index but I will buy a complete index if I have to as the #1-60 sets seem hard to find. Trying to stay away from the 135deg split points just for ease of sharpening. Thanks in advance.

I need a decent Wood Rasp?

Searched but didn’t find much. I’m not a wood guy at all but I have a couple of screwdriver restorations coming up that will require a small amount of wood working. Would like to pick up a rasp but I have no idea what is good and what’s junk? Are there a couple “go to” brands for wood rasps? Thanks

    Nepros Flex Head Ratchet

I’m looking at getting a Nepros Flex Head. I will probably get a 1/4 to start and then a 3/8 if I like it. My only experience with flex heads is locking Gearwrench 90t, non locking Gearwrench 120s and non locking tektons. The Nepros does not have any detents to hold the head in place, looks...
