Anyone how to safely remove this expanded d battery in my flashlight? Took some of the buildup off but the battery is tight in there. Don’t think it’s a good idea to bust it up in pieces.

So I’ve got a sight glass I need to remove. It’s maybe an inch wide with maybe 1/8 risers from the face. I’m waiting to hear back from the manufacturer to see what special tool the use to unscrew this but maybe you guys got a better idea. Suggestions?

I found a couple of tools that I haven’t seen before so I’m looking for some help. Anyone have an idea? The bottom one has a blade so I was assuming it was maybe a scraper or cutter of some type. But the blue one has me stumped.

So this water heater was installed about a year ago and the relief valve is starting to look like this. I didn’t have any leaks when I installed it. Any suggestions why the build up is happening?
