I've searched a lot and haven't come across a big thread for the US General 44" toolboxes. I find MANY different threads. Sorry for wasting a thread on this but I'd like to find one if its out there.

Anyone have any experience with these? Found what appears to be a nice 26" bottom and top in nice condition. A quick google search would suggest they are decent boxes but I haven't seen one and its a short 2 hr drive before I go get them.

I'm currently keeping some random tools in a small rubber maid tub in the back of my truck. After time of heat/freeze the tub seems to not hold the lid tight anymore. Thinking a milwaukee packout, knock off pelican, or just plain old metal toolbox along that line might be better solution...
