    3/4 Ratchet Set - Uses?

It's better have a tool and not need it than need it and not have it. Like most have said, I inherited my set from my grandfather and used them mostly on my press( bearings, races, bushings, etc). When we bought the ranch I really found out how much they were needed fixing you own equipment. Two...

Finally did it... Got a US General 44" Roller, but...

Part II The inner slide should just push out of the outter slide. Take the roller ball pieces and hold on to them, I cleaned and relubed mine while I had them apart. There are two for each slide so 8 total. I set a depth guage to 1 1/4 and cut them. When I put them back together I put the...

Finally did it... Got a US General 44" Roller, but...

I have the 72" and it was only a bother on my socket drawer. This is what I did to solve that. Unloading the drawer was the most time consuming part. Pull the drawer and drill out these rivits. You might need to pry up on the slide to get them to come free, Then they should just slide forward...

ICON S-style wrenches. Are these useful.

^^^What Wanderer said. That is the only appliacation I can think of that I have needed anything like that. All I ever did was cut up old wrenches to the shape or angle I needed. I have had a few times where I have needed and used an obstruction wrench, starters, intake manifolds and some...

    Let's see your toolbox.

So way back in 05 I posted my home boxes and said I would get a picture of my work box. That was not correct. I have been through 3 other boxes and then I retired from running auto shops and went to work in Facilities for the goverment since then. This is what I now have parked in my garage.
