auto body stores sell a rubber wheel you put in a drill,,, or cut off tool. when it spins and you apply pressue on the stripe, it will fly right off,,, glue and all. Sanding or grinding will have you sealing and priming and painting ect.

it'll take longer than you think to bring temp up if you have concrete floors, ceiling fan or something to circulate it will help.

the piece on the right is screwed to your ceiling facing down with pipe going up thru it. That ring it has is the built in 1in clearance. I have I think a 3/4 gap around that. And the ring thing is an added brace
