I have a 40x80 hangar and want to insulate the ceiling. The runers are on 24” centers so I plan to use faced house insulation and need/want to put a support over it like house wrap etc. to help hold it up and to look better. Anyone done this?

A 40x80x12 on a 3000’ ft grass strip. I have added high bay led lights now to insulate and add interior wall coverings.

Well if you are in a T Hangar I agree but if you lease the land and build your own hangar I personally think there should be some allowance to do more stuff. "not run a business etc" Most lease agreements require you turning over the hangar you paid to build in 15 to 20 years to the airport...

Yep and that is why I bought on a private 3000' lit grass airport the FAA can't control what I do. The FAA is killing GA flying by not allowing people to hang out a the airport and tinker. I bought a 100 watt 14000 Lumen UFO high bay to try.
