    Epoxy (Rustoleum) touch up.

My install is more or less 19 months old. The product used was the regular Rustoleum available at Lowes. Two coats plus the Rustoleum clear product. I am generally pleased, however, I recently noticed that I have a spot that is going bad. Not too big now but it appears that it will probably...

The bushing in the car now is a needle bearing. The grease method did not budge it... I appreciate the info on those pullers. They look good and a great price...

    WTB Kent Moore J 23907

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried the grease method. I have not had success but did get a big mess out of the whole process. :headscrat I rented a Pilot Beearing puller earlier today.... maybe it will work out better than the grease. Gotta get my car back on the road! :3gears:

    Window Units

I have an attached 525 sq ft two car garage. I use it for car and bike projects. In Georgia it gets hotter than hell. I need something to take the edge of off the heat in the garage in the summers. Home Depot has some 5000 and 6500 BTU units for less than $150. My plan would be to use the...

Ideas so that you can park in your garage

I did this... Cleaned out the garage. It feels so good to de-clutter the garage. In fact, I am going back again the thin it some more becuase once I let go of it I didn't miss it at all. By the way, my garage is the talk of the neighborhood. Alot of the guys have been dropping by...

    Epoxy over new VCT floor?

I would think that you would be ripe for problems if: 1. the VCT tile pulls away form the concrete. 2. The Tile is not designed for paint to adhere. You will have to sand the VCT to get the epoxy to stick to it If I was in your position I would remove the tile and all the adhesive and then...

    A rookies take on Rustoleum...

I put down the Rustoleum clear coat yesterday... Very high gloss. Looks great to me. The Rustoleum tech line claims it is the most durable of their products. They highly recommend it. Late this afternoon I start to move my stuff out of the Mobile attic and into my garage... Cool! I am...

    A rookies take on Rustoleum...

Re: A rookies take on Rustoleum... Practical advice! You apply it in 4' by 4' sections and back out of the garage. You can walk on it in a little less than 24 hours. I am preparing to put down a Rustoleum clear coat. I ordered it through the local Ace Hardware. Follow the instructions...

    A rookies take on Rustoleum...

A rookies take on Rustoleum... Practical advice! I just put a Rustoleum Epoxy Shield floor down. I used the water based kit. My garage is an 525 sq ft attached two car Garage. I use it to store two cars (94 modified Corvette and a BMW 540i.) I do light wrenching and no welding or cutting...

3rd post and have to admit I am a bone head!

I replaced it. Bought three new kits from Big Box Inc... Put it down last weekend and it went down good. It does however appear to really need a second coat to make it look really nice. Now I need to sand it and put down another coat...

3rd post and have to admit I am a bone head!

I bought Rustoleum Epoxy shield from a discounter September 2004. Only paid $75 for three kits. I put this on the shelf and procrastinated for a bit.... Fast forward to this week and I decide to prepare the floor and call Rustoleum and the guy in customer service tells me how to date the...
