Okay, so maybe my "retirement" is a transient state that depends on whether there's a sale nearby. I still contend that I'm not driving all over the country side every weekend looking for scores, so let's just call it "semi-retired".
So let's start with a sale I found near the Salt Lake City airport on Friday. I had 20 minutes to stroll through a residential house, garage and basement. It was a honey hole and day 2 of the sale, so bargaining was possible. I was limited by what could fit into my checked baggage, so I left some nice pieces behind, ones I previously would have bought for resale.
First up is a grab bag of DBE wenches (always seem to be the first things I grab): Westline, Sears, Barcalo Buffalo, Craftsman, Proto, and a ratcheting DBE from Robinair used for HVAC work. $1 each.
How about some Starrett? $2 each.
