CFD, I like those aluminum tackle boxes! I have a coupe like or similar to that and a couple setup for spinners/files. Cool stuff!

Beware, they are not plastic worm proof. Finding a nice one like that is becoming a rairaty
Not much of interest in the local sales in the tool realm, but I did pick up these vintage Wiss No. 20 heavy duty industrial shears--10.5 inches long. This is after I tuned them up. I failed to take a before picture, but they had heavy surface rust spotting and were hard to operate. Shiny, sharp and smooth as silk now.

Yes. I have seen them before. I don't think it's the name of a corporate entity. But I forget what it stands for. Believe it or not, this is the first one I have found. EDIT: Got tired of trying to remember and looked it up. San Antonio Air Depot. Are you sure the manufacturer is SAAD and not SAAB?
As in the rubber worms eat the plastic trays? Or eat the aluminum?
Good catch! The older inlaid Wiss are really good scissors! I have quite a few pairs, not many dupes.
BFB, I have a couple of those saws, one fixed speed and the second is variable. They are good saws! IIR the variable can be "steered" with the knob.

Gidge,
Is that set-up just for the photo, or do you have a space where you display items with their patent documents? I like the effect.
What is the thing between the two flaring tools? And what was that rather too-square-for-tools crowntop Craftsman box intended for? EDIT: Disregard last. I see the small "SANDER" on the label now....so I grabbed a few things.
Other day, spotted a listing on marketplace for a metal cabinet. Liked the graphics of the old cars on one of the two doors, but also could see a lot of rust. Picked it up and did some cleaning, without going too far.
On other door, says Automotive Tune Up Parts and bottom of same door, says Borg Warner.

Me neither! When you get a chance, please post a few more photos on the K-D thread. See Index in Sticky for link. I'd love to see a few angles and also the marking.Lugz....it's a tube bender made by KD. I've never seen one
I had a great day today guys. Went to the automotive swap and met up with CB, and member Glenn M. who’s visiting from Virginia and invited me out there.. Glenn is a cool dude with some good interesting stories to share. Great to hang with the guys as always.
Before meeting up, I got an early start on picking. There were some stellar deals this time, mainly from a couple booths, but there were tons of tools overall.
There were two guys with a lot of tools. I got the 3 1/2” ratchets, long Cman sliding t, 1/2” Mac breaker, 2 speeder rats, for $2 apiece. Couldn’t say no. I noticed the Pittsburgh Harbor Freight 3/4 drive set, it looked like new. Had to find out how much. $10! How the heck could I leave it for that?
The very last booth , I hit the Walden jackpot. Saw the flex head speeder on the tarp and couldn’t believe it. 5 bucks the guy says. Deal. My second flex head in two weeks! Also brought home the two long 3/8 extensions and NOS impact socket set. The seller was a nice guy from Worcester, MA, and he told me he’s friends with the man whose father owned Walden!
At another booth I’d been browsing through display cases and saw what looked like a German Stahlwille combo. I thought why the heck is that in the case? A closer look and I saw the blade. Letter opener! Quite cool, as I also have the Snap On I received from Secret Santa one year.
I responded to a Craigslist ad for "Tons of Tools" the other day and grabbed a few items. He had a lot of stuff that he said was his grandfather's and the prices were right so I grabbed a few things.
My next trip to Ft Huachuca is in a couple weeks. A good friend of mine has the real thing. I will snap a photo for you.Turns out it is a battery replica of a Russian ship clock,
The pic on the clock looks like the flying bridge on a sub?
Here is my haul from the weekend. 3rd weekend of someone cleaning out "dad's house", and he really disappointed me Sunday. Last weekend I got to see his Prentiss F-22 swivel jaw vise, first swiveler I'd ever seen in the wild, but I had to show him how it worked (thanks to you guys I knew). I was hoping to get a picture this weekend, but he'd moved it out. He was planning on keeping it
Anyway, on to the finds, starting top right.
