Thats badass Ive not see a wilton that small... not trying to get into a **** measuring contest here but I bought a 4" bullet vise from a guy for 10 bucks.. also got a 17" 16 speed free standing drill press for 35.00. Got home and within 30 minutes had sold that vise for 170.00... that was a good garage sale dayThis almost got away from me. Showed up stupid early (3hrs) to an estate sale today (nothing else better to do), was 4th in line, and passed up some other stuff while searching this out. Turns out there was a secondary nook behind a wall with the shelf it was on. Found it, and breathed a huge sigh of relief. This estate company is known for pretty reasonable pricing, and doesnt really know tools, so lots of stuff goes cheap if you are willing to poke around.
2.5" jaws, 5-53 on the keyway. Price paid is attached to the handle in the pic.

The ring-handle ratchet?

Nice assortment. Any part number of the Plomb body hammer? I am not super up on these but I haven't seen one stamped there before. I wonder if it could be an early H series hammer. Maybe post on the Plomb board so X or Ragz could help?I hit up four sales yesterday, three were good and nothing that caught my eye at the fourth.

A mostly full box of cleaning patches, Jorgensen F clamp, a Cornwell deep socket, 3 Proto La draglink sockets, P&C feeler gauge, Husky and pre-long c Craftsman sockets, some sort of Proto specialty tool (2357), Proto LA pliers, SK diamond extension, Plomb extension, Body hammer, Craftsman ratchets (1/4 and 3/8) some of those odd vise grips, Duro breaker bar, SK extension and P&C 3/8 combo. $12 all together.
But it took me a while to figure out the maker of the body hammer. Finely found the makers mark on the edge of the square face:

Good point.Good idea Roy, but no, I didn't see a part number. But it can't be too early, as the O is the V shape. I will get some pics up of it.
And Provincial, that is exactly the reason I grabbed it!

I think I see a Wizard ratchet. Great find!Fresh from the barn! $35 all in. Can you spot the one that's worth more than the box?
From last weekend, on Sunday I drove out to Seguin to hit the estate sale Old Radar hit on Saturday. It was a very good day. I found some more bags of wrenches and sockets which included a lot of Plomb and a ton of 9/32 drive sockets along with everything else pictured and some stuff that isn't.

Lest I forget the most important find. This was also in one of the bags.

Actually, I didn't find a single piece in 1/4". Even the little USAF ratcheting adapter is 9/32.
