Once again we are truly humbled by Andy's generosity.
Mrs 1/2 Cup ( JAC ) loves her trivet and has already put it to use.
It sits pride of place in the kitchen.
Many many thanks Andy...![]()
Hoping your tune-up puts you back on track to good running order, 1/2!
I just had a triggerpoint injection in my neck yesterday to try and help alleviate the lingering effects of my car wreck. SWMBO says I'm a pain in the neck regardless.
Andy, those trivets are awesome! I watched a series of u-tub vids on aluminum casting and it looks like you've mastered the process.
1/2: did you end up going to the auction and did you help get their bids up or maybe you ended up with an item or two or three? so many old steel fab companies in our area closed their doors the past few years it was sad to be honest cause we can't rely on imports for everything especially since the importers seem to only ship the stuff that is meant to be replaced in about 5 years.
best of luck on the clean bill of health this week and i'm still sending prayers.
Handy: your little hammers and trivets are making their way around the world nicely. WELL DONE SIR!!! also I didn't look close enough and I thought you were painting the letters and not sanding the black paint off to bare metal which makes good sense.

Thanks, Ric!I set out to learn how to make equipment and car parts but now I'm just having fun.

Steve, good luck with the immunotherapy. Are you bringing a laptop with you to the hospital? Hospital stays are no fun under any circumstance but it is torture if you are feeling even reasonably well. With any luck you will leave the hospital with one of those certificates that say "No nurses or other hospital staff were harmed in any way while Steve was a patient."
I hope this next week goes smooth and well for you.
Hoping you have a good and productive week of therapy and are back in the shed soon.
Bob

I’m glad to hear you are positive and that there is so much progress on your road to recovery.
A bit of rest with a pen and pad of paper… think of all the planning and lists you can come up with!![]()
Never mind all those stainless surfaces you could polish till you could see your face in it or all the castors on gurneys and drip stands you could make run straight again.![]()
Mind you it would be great to have the time to get through my Youtube "watch later" list!![]()
Steve….
Happy dumpster diving.....![]()

Prayers for a COMPLETE recovery.....

Stay strong Steve. If they knew how many people were in there with you they would throw us all out. Prayers always of course! Bobby

Keep strong, there are a few of us that are waiting for this week to pass quickly. Need you back to normal.
X2!
When you are a person who takes care of yourself (and others) it is hard to just let others take care of you.
Keep us posted, please.
1/2: I'd send you some YouTube videos of me working out with great looking gals, but i think you might need some of guys rebuilding engines to keep your spirits high. or maybe you've got some nice help at the hospital taking very good care of you?
that looks painful and hope you don't have to do that again.
best of luck for a speedy recovery and hope the doctors have your cure figured out to last for many many years to come.
is family stopping by to say hi or waiting until you get home to have a party?
take care and best wishes
Steve
I'm just dropping by at this absurd hour of the day because I can't sleep - I have been watching, just been too busy to jump in with a comment..
Take care and relax in there!
Lyndon
Yep - that one!
)On the bright side, at least you have GJ to help pass the time.
I've heard it's on all night (not that I've ever stayed up late enough to prove it)
Best,
Steve, thOughts are with you mate, I hate hospitals but know sometimes they are a necessary evil.
Cheers,
lyndsay
1/2: I bet your mental health is really helping your cause beating all these issues cause I can tell you are maybe the most positive guy in the hospital while you are there.
keep it up and hoping for a speedy recovery.
So now you have a way to do a quick oil change on your arm?
Well wishes from my neck of the woods, glad your spirits are up, sometimes I think that is the worst part of anything, getting beaten down mentally.

Take it easy and have a great day as well.
Well done Steve!
1/2: i'm not sure it's necessary when you are out of the hospital, but you might carry or wear a mask in case you get around people that might have a cold or that are sneezing or sick cause you don't want to catch anything until your immune system is firing on all however many cylinders.
I'm very happy you were released with a clean bill of health. WELL DONE SIR!!
Consider it "Time off for good behavior"
Getting out 2 days early must have been a huge relief.
Get some rest.
Hey Steve, I just got caught up with your thread..
I didn't realise that you'd been put on the hoist for a grease and oil change and RWC.
Great to hear that you passed your road worthiness inspection.
.
Great news and one step closer. [emoji106]
