Sitting on the couch with your best dog, benefiting from drinking a beer? Hell, I'd be thankful for that!!!
All, I couldn't resist this one, in the absence of the three rodents Shelby has been making the best of her free reign of the place.

She is not normally an inside dog but the couch in the lounge room is her favorite spot
Have a great day and enjoy your Thanksgiving..![]()
Great photo. Certainly makes me smile.
I am not sure if it is the case with Shelby, but often dogs have their senses so in tune with ours and just need to be close to us, so maybe she enjoys keeping close to you as well.
Wonderful shot of Shelby!
We are excited by every indication of improvement form you, so keep the updates coming!
Nice find on the MG starting issue. Summed up in one word :aftermarket.

Glad to hear that you are getting better Steve. Slow and steady always gets to the end. Keep plodding along.![]()
1/2: my wife and I flew to California to visit our son for Thanksgiving and it was 90 degrees and not the standard snow or cold and wet weather we have here. all the other kids were at their in laws so a very peaceful few days other than the fact he isn't home much and doesn't have any AC in his apartment cause he works 16 hour days and his work has AC.
nice work figuring out the issue with the MGF and i have no idea how you did that and no wonder Andrew would rather bring his car issues to you than anybody else.
great picture of Shelby and even though you have a great home i know your dogs are part of the family and are allowed to share in it's comforts after they wipe their feet.
cheers and glad you are still making steady progress to GET HEALTHIER almost every day.

1/2 Cup,Todays Update:
My bloods this morning were fine and that has paved the way for the Immunotherapy trail to begin mid December![]()
Being a trial and the drugs not approved for in Australia at the moment there is quite a lot of logistics and hoops to jump through, even to get them into the country. Anyway they are showing great results in the States and the UK.
I have been experiencing some muscle and joint pain & a little breathlessness since the last Chemo so the specialist ordered a scan this morning just to be sure and I have a mild infection in the lungs, so I am back on Antibiotics as of 10 minutes ago just to clear things up. Other than that things are going well..
Thank you one and all, have a great day..![]()
I've been peeking in while on the run a few times Steve, but just no time. Sorry I haven't been part of the vocal chorus here, but I'm sure glad to see you're doing better!
Keep on pluggin'
Cheers!
1/2 Cup,
You hang in there, and don't do too much at a time.
There are alot of people here who care about you, and want to see you beat this.
My prayers are for you.
Great picture of Shelby. QCT with dad. Beer tasting, there you go. Better for you than soft drinks.

Steve, it's good to hear you are finished with chemo and starting on Immunotherapy. You are often in my thoughts and you doing better is a great comfort (I hate when my prayers are ignored).
A Belgian Malinois accompanied Seal Team 6 on the Osama bin Ladin mission. The breed is used more than German Shepherds because their smaller size makes tandem rappelling and parachuting easier.
I remember your video of Shelby in the shed with her favorite toy. I came across a video that shows high-energy is a breed trait. Probably Shelby's laid back little brother:

Glad your doing better and nice of you to wander over to my little thread corner of the gj and post a few kind words!
Hope you stay on antibiotics is short and sweet as well!
Great photos of Shelby as well!

1/2: just checking in to see if you might be enjoying your SATURDAY. are you?
yep Don's garage and especially Don and Ann should be on yours and maybe a lot of member's bucket list. he's got a passion for good old USA made STUFF and i don't see him stopping anytime soon.
take care and here's to your GOOD or GREAT HEALTH!!
He may be under the weather today like I am. We have almost had a months worth of rain here in the last 48 hours.
About 36 mm of rain here but the gauge may have overflowed. Still raining here.

Haven't had quite so much rain south of the Divide, maybe only an inch or so down Surfcoast way. We could do with more..
Still a misty rain here and that (sadly) is enough to stop me being able to do anything outside. Very sloppy underfoot as well.
1/2,
Glad everything now seems to be going your way and still wishing you the best. On a side note you mentioned farmers in the middle of harvest, might I ask what all is farmed down under? The only thing we have harvested at the beginning of summer around here is wheat.
JB
1/2: i'm guessing with all that rain and now maybe some summer heat it might be a bit muggy so hopefully your SHED'S AC is working well.
also just checking in and letting you know i'm still hanging in there rooting for you to get back to 100% so you can maybe get back to DRONE FLYING and inspecting all your cool work sites that look more like vacation spots soon.
best of luck

Thanks for the update!![]()
I hope everything works in your favor Steve and a speedy recovery.
Bret
Our weather has improved here and like you I will using that mower soon. Mostly weeds and not the lawn although I should add the Lippia grass has taken off with all that rain.

The only trouble I have is that Mrs 1/2 Cup has banned me from using the mower or edger which I am more than happy with at the moment, with the exception of the millimeter perfect edges she does a great job with the mower and is real fussy..![]()

It's your fault for not giving proper instructions.
Glad you're getting back to your old self.![]()

Dan, your right there..
It looks like we need some Quality Tuition Time for the lawn edging, here is a pass..

I’m lucky the lawn will grow fast this time of year with the recent rain.
usual stuff that chemo etc can bring, transfusion, tests n more tests to make sure all is on track.
