And every time it comes up, we explain why these are a bad choice and how you can get the same performance for 1/8th of the cost. Unless you like driving over your lights with a truck.

agree…. just get a bunch of LED can lights from costco…. and descent looking fluorescents and combine for optimum color balance….

I've read every one of those threads and didn't see a single good argument against them.

Generally you compare cheap throw away lights to the BAL and make some comment about driving a truck on the ceiling. Some people buy tools from Harbor Freight and some use Snapon and Fesstoll.

I don't think anyone would be unhappy and it doesn't seems like you would need too many in an average home garage.
