Man, been a while since I've been to my own thread. It's just been stupid crazy for me, between getting ready for the hurricane, cleaning up after the hurricane, sold moms house and had to get the last of stuff out of that garage, the front of my shop was totaled with stuff.
Anyway, here's an addition to my fleet and this will turn into a future project.
Been looking for a golf cart to beat around the property with and to take to the Flywheelers when we go. After researching the different brands, I settled on a Club Car because they had an aluminum frame and a grounds maintenance line of cars that I liked. I picked this up at a auction, when I went by to look over what they had, I found this carryall 272 that I never run across before. It comes with the flatter wheels and tires from the factory and the higher ride height. I didn't even look at the others after finding this.
It's equipped with a dump bed, hydraulic brakes and a locking rear end. Just about the entire frame and body is aluminum. I had to change out the voltage regulator and a new battery. I now know where all the Dodge and Ford terminated engineers go, to club car!
Also picked up this sweet little CM drill press. It's little, but as heavy as a floor model. Good thing I'm done having kids, as I believe I left any siblings at the house where I loaded this up.
It's a early 1940s model. I have a CM motor that I'll put on someday.
I'll try to keep this thread current.
