Re: garage refurb
What a change! Nice work!

Dado cuts, I would imagine those are much easier with a radial arm saw than it would be with a table saw as you can get a better look at your cut. Thanks for mentioning it.
Glad to see your staying busy in the garage. It looks a lot brighter.

Thanks for all the updates, your build has been an inspiration. Really looking forward to seeing what you do next. Watching you pretty closely and taking notes, trying to steal as many of your ideas as possible. Cheers![]()

hopefully, the new pegboard is white for an even brighter work space!

Tomorrow's project will be hanging new pegboardand trying to remember where all this **** went.

After that is done, I have to rip some 2x4 done to make some more trim. I'll slap some paint on it and hopefully get it up later on. Once that is done, I can hang the rest of my junk back up.
That wall with the call boxes looks a lot better in white for sure.
The new colors look better in there, for sure. They do stand out more with the white. I also added a pull station to the wall that I picked up. I'm thinking of adding a small section of conduit (painted red) between the pull station and alarm box.

The little call boxes are pretty cool. I'm not sure if there is something in them anymore, but your mention of a conduit between them got me thinking (okay, you better run now!)... Maybe the conduit could actually be air line and you hide your air quick disconnects in there. Or maybe if you don't need compressed air in that room, it might be kinda cool to hide something garage-related in there like cordless tool chargers or something. Just a thought.
Keep up the good work.
I really like the fire alarm stuff! I have a bunch of pull stations and horn strobes wired up to a power supply in my shop, just for kicks. Nothing old like you have lol

I can get you a key for that pull station. Is it a notifier, fire lite, or? Can't see THAT well LOL
