Mike, I'm considering placing another order for a few other things before the sale ends. Can you get me prices and a set of metric offset ratcheting wrenches. Maybe part #9602? Also curious of the price of mid length sockets in 1/4 and/or 3/8 drive.

Thanks!

Just now saw this...

Hey AH, I found pricing on the 9602N or RN. The n is on a holder, the RN is in a pouch. Both are the same price. For GJ folks, the price is $245 shipped. You have to call in on this one because we don't have the part loaded on the website yet JUST yet. By the time you read this, it may be, just do a search...

For the rest of them:

GearWrench- 10 Pc. 1/4" Drive 6 Point SAE Mid Length Socket Set

GearWrench- 13 Pc. 1/4" Drive 6 Point Metric Mid Length Socket Set

GearWrench- 11 Pc. 3/8" Drive 6 Point SAE Mid Length Socket Set

GearWrench- 14 Pc. 3/8" Drive 6 Point Metric Mid Length Socket Set.

If you have any problems on the website, let me know. You can call me at 972-961-4656, x103.

$245? How many pieces is that? Maybe its just me not knowing what it is, seems a little steep in my non expert opinion.

They are an expensive set, but I bet I can knock them down to $205.

EDITED:
I really should have researched cost a bit better. Every cost I uploaded is based on a fixed markup. I need to go in and adjust markups based on dollar value.

I am sure that we will do a nice promotion for GJ users.

See this isn't the same old 'Im in retail how much can I get' attitude that I hate. I will happily buy more stuff from you just based on that. Don't change.

I used to work for a small company who had that attitude, got big (for a local company) enough that they didn't think they had to think that way anymore. I worked in repair though, maybe I had no business caring about the retail part to begin with.

Mine were delivered today! Can't wait to get home and open them up. I'm swapping motors out this weekend in two fox bodies so I am sure they will get plenty of use! It was a pleasure doing business with your company, Mike. You have definitely gained a faithful customer!

I won a 3/8ths around Christmas online promotion. I have had nothing but positive things to say about it.

i have 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2" in the standard chrome handles and agree totally. With this deal, I bought all the flex head sets too. Honestly, if Gearwrench made these in more varieties, such as the 24" long 1/2" flex head or something, I think these ratchets are a Snap-On killer...

Not to complain ( because i am not) but for your benefit you need to consider shipping in a more appropriate sized box. I received my rathets in a 20x16x12 box. Way overkill. I ship things everyday (car parts) and know that using to large of a box will kill your bottom line when it comes to shipping costs even with substantial FedEx commercial discounts.

it might just be that they didn't expect so many orders and ran out of the proper size boxes but still wanted to get the product to the customer in a timely manner.

Gentleman:
Normally, we reuse boxes that we have. We get so many in, it is wasteful to buy new ones, HOWEVER, once we started shipping orders out, we nearly ran completely dry and were scavenging for what we could find.

Solution: We bought two pallets full of different boxes. We took about an hour trying to fit different combinations of products and material in boxes to find what we needed. We should be good now.

EHH.... let me ask my rep in the morning. I am not sure what he is going to say. I would hate to give you bad info.

Mike

I would prefer to order from a small businesses. Coincidentally I was planning to order the same set this week and have had it in a Cart elsewhere, so I'd be interested as well. Looking forward to doing business together!

yeah, much prefer FedEx myself too... UPS always breaks stuff on the way to my house. However, tools usually survive as they are not as delicate.

So, there's a catalog included? what does it cover? or, is it a Gearwrench catalog?

It a 60 page catalog of things they carry, just couple items from each company it seems. It funny that gearwrench is not even in it.

I'm sorry we did not reach out to you personally. All of your items you have ordered are on back order from the factory and as soon as we get a clear ship date we will update everyone. :)
