Hi,

Is the below a real snap on ratchet or just a SO handle put on another ratchet?

Thanks!

The seller is a member of GJ and a seller of a lot of tools--I doubt he would try to sell an 'imposter' !

doesn't look like any snap on swivel head I've seen. mine have the model # stamped just above the handle and they don't have the little chrome bit in the center of the direction selector.

There is no neck band around the tool. Above the grip there should be the model #, date code and SO name. None of it is there.. Fake

Maybe this CamaroToolMan is not the same guy?

Maybe its an honest mistake, maybe he thought it was real??

Maybe, he does have a lot of positive feedback, but then again why not research the tool to at least get a ballpark price?

Guess to be fair gotta wait for him to chime in!

Must have been to hard for him to actually look at it and look for a snap on part# prior to selling
which it doesnt even have.

But if you have no reason to look... then why look?

Because since most snap on ratchets have the band above the handle with the part#
If he didnt realize that when he purchased it to resell and or prior to listing it then it is pure negligence on his part as seller.

Has anyone tried just sending him a message through Ebay ? Is that a real Snap On handle even ? The "O" is not an O.

The handle yes, the ratchet no.

Also hard to beleive someone with so much selling experience would make such a big mistake....:headscrat

I can't say I use the same username everywhere.
But I also don't play the :dunno: game when selling.

i.e. I don't need "Please email if any problems before you give bad feedback." in my eBay listings.

I don't see a part number anywhere on the alleged Snap On ratchet, or anywhere in the description, or any mention of teeth count. I'd be pissed if I bought that thing because someone stuck a soft handle on it.

Wouldn't it be pretty obvious that its a cheap ratchet? It looks pretty good in pictures but in person I bet not. He has 100% feed back. Im saying its real,I would hate to think one of our guys would scam.
I do have a trust of most of you guys, hell most of us could hang out.

could have fooled me by at least using a Gearwrench roto ratchet instead of Pittsburgh, that's just sloppy
