I had my 1939 General Tool catalog out to help Rileysan date a Herbrand roller, so I checked the pictures of the socket sets. Most have the rounded front corners on the lid like the one OTG posted just above, but the 74-1/2 set has the square corners and, like all the Herbrand sets, has the one long socket tray in the back. The difference is, all the Herbrand boxes have two flip latches in addition to the locking hasp. These appear to be missing from redtop's box.
Edit to Add: The 74-1/2 set is 1/2" drive. Also, most sets shown have round labels inside the lids, but one 1/2" drive set has a diamond-shaped label.
