but we have had a number of clients try to use it but the New Age
Dr.99,
Did you have any expansion joints in your garage? If so, how did you handle them? I've read and reread every thread on here regarding porcelain tile, but my garage floor has an inordinate amount them (I believe). To "honor" them all would be awkward and visually unapplealing. If I can just grind them level (they stick up slightly) and fill them this might be the way to go.
Thanks,
Chris V.
I don't think I have true expansion joints. There were some control joints that I was able to just tile over. I left gaps on the sides and used their aluminum trim to cover them.
Still loving it. Looks great, sweeps out easy. Haven't had any chips or cracks. There's a couple of spots I'd like to extend their wall version when it comes out. Obviously haven't faced winter yet, but I don't anticipate any challenges.
In other news I priced out the Newage flooring for my 405sqft garage and it came out to around $1800 which is only about $700 more than a nice epoxy coating except without the ridiculous amount of prep I would need to do. I am considering it.. my only concern is I have different grade slabs in the garage so the vertical surfaces need to be covered in something..
... One of my problems is how to deal with the threshold at my garage door. The door comes down right at the edge of the garage slab and then the concrete outside is about 3/8" lower.

I had my car up on jack stands doing dome maintenance when my sample piece was delivered. It was just big enough to place under a jack stand and after a couple of days when I pulled the stands there were some small dents which could have easily been prevented by using a small piece of plywood
But, one of the main factors in my decision to buy was -> COSTCO. I said it before, if it does not hold up, even a couple of years down the road I am going to utilize the Costco '100% satisfaction guarantee'.
im going to hit up New Age and ask them to send me some end caps for free. i mean, after the 55 boxes of flooring, 3 sets of pro cabinets and a separate pro cabinet (17 cabinets in total), I think I have spent enough money to get something for free.

[...]I was wondering for those of you who've installed, how did you guys handle the parts where the tile meets the wall? My walls are pretty rough and also not the most even and is more rounded in the area rather than a perfect 90 degree angle. I also have to contend with this 8" lip towards the back of the garage. Any tips would be appreciated.
