Got $10 in surprise points, but I have to spend $70... meh.
Not really at sears.com, but for some I think this is a good deal on some Craftsman tools...hope I don't get in trouble for this.
Craftsman fans...if you have not been to the Harry J Epstein web site yet you may want to check it out. Look under "Close Outs" and then search for CRAFTSMAN.
He's got 6 different pliers, the old "professional" red/black handles, that I have not seen on store shelves in years.
He'd also got the professional scratch awl for $6 !!!

Of course I didn't need any of these....tracking shows delivery today.![]()

Do I have to post an image of the clearance item? I got the 12oz version of those red rubber/yellow plastic hammers for $7.74. I thought that was a good enough price for me to jump on it. I've used it a few times already and I love it. It's great for hanging axes. I'll be on the lookout for the rest of the hammers..

That thing is a total *************, I wouldn't pay $5 for it

I had one, paid $50 for it. It couldn't remove a lug nut!
Are you sure you aren't talking about this one?

That is the ultra cheap model and it truly does ****. The "heavy duty" one is a lot better, but there are still way better options out there (Harbor Freight Earthquake being the main one).
Can you redeem points on hot buy stuff? I think you can.

I assume you mean surprise points as regular points aren't limited. If so I would say it depends on the terms of the surprise points. Typically surprise points that say they are good towards any purchase over X dollars work fine on Hot Buys and so do ones for tool purchases. Coupons on the other hand sometimes don't work on hot buys
A big ymmv but my local store has a bunch of the automotive tools on clearance. Mostly craftsman and lisle. Here are a few things I picked up. Not crazy cheap prices but most things are 50-60% off list. And all USA made.
Craftsman cotter key puller #4319 $3.47
Craftsman inspection mirror #4070 $4.47
Craftsman pick up tool #41602 $6.47
Craftsman lock ring pliers #47386 $7.47
Craftsman hose pliers #47051 $7.47
Craftsman retaining ring pliers #47385 $10.97
Craftsman professional hook and pic set #47077 $18.97
Lisle 3pc body trim set #35440 $13.97
Also see the portable toolboxes are on clearance as well.
I take that back.. last week at HD I picked up a 2 pack of Crescent USA made flush cutter/plier set for like $13. The flush cutter looks similar to Xuron stuff. The package looked old, not sure if it's discontinued or not. I wasn't gonna buy it till I noticed that it was USA.
Edit: this set here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002Z9Y07I/?tag=atomicindus08-20
I just bought this same set last week. They are great for the money. I really only use the flush cutters to cut zip ties flush so a mechanic or anyone else doesnt cut their hands on sharp plastic ends after I put in the alarm or remote start. The needle nose can be handy when needed. I think these are current still USA made.

Drove an hour and a half each way just to find out the Sears Outlet in Shrewsbury, MA only sells appliances and riding mowers. Guess I should have called first and asked if they had tools there. What a waste of time. I guess I have zero options for good Sears deals around here, other than a few here and there in the mall stores.
I walked in and it was like a sea of refrigerators...
They did have the corded bolt-on drill for $48, which was selling at Sears not too long ago for $20
I've purchased tools from that outlet in the past. I went to the outlet in st louis 2 weeks ago and they didnt have any craftsman tools either.

If some finds these and gets them, I'd like one too. None around me
A lot of the Sears hose clamp stuff is highly discounted now if you need it.
I already own the set of three--great tools--made in the USA--I'll check my local store in the morning for the one you are missing--00947051000P--1-1/4" capacity--StanJust need the one size, if you buy it I'll mail you two and keep one.

My order came in but was very disappointed to see they substituted Husky for some of my Craftsman screwdrivers. This **** is going back!

Are you sure you didn't order Husky ones? HJE has a lot of Husky ones listed that are basically identical to the Cman. Both made by WF.

If I wanted Husky branded **** I'd stop at one of the 10 HDs I pass daily.
I got Husky screwdrivers as well. I don't care if they fell off the same production line or not over at Western Forge.Ordering on-line is not a lisense for sellers to make substitutions when ever they want without permission. I guess they figure i want kick up a fuss over a buck 75. And by freakin' observation can't they see that every item I ordered is branded CRAFTSMAN?
