Luke warm deal, good if you have points. Sears has some Wera screwdrivers at Amazon prices. Such as the laser tip.

$30 is a great price on this, considering the fact that you can likely use surprise points.

Sears pricing on Wera stuff changes daily. These usually come in around $34, but can often be over $40.

Be sure to check out the multi bit driver. At $32, that is a great tool for the money.

Sears is having a member bonus event tonight (10/16, 6PM-9PM) at their stores, which is supposed to give early access for Sears Days deals:

http://sears.com/memberbonusevent

Past such events were not too exciting, but this one has an added twist of automatic price protection. Of course, you need faith that Sears will be still around in January and can handle such a process correctly:

I know how everyone hates that we can no longer combine coupons with our surprise points...

...but check your account to see if you were lucky enough to get a Sears $10 in surprise points on $25 in tools.

It's missing the "all coupons" exclusion, and I just tested it together with a $10 off $50 tools coupon. ;)

Just checked, and couldn't find either of those offers on my account, just $12 in surprise points. Damn.

Wera can be had much cheaper at Zoro using coupons. Zoro's prices tend to be close to Amazon's price before coupon codes being used.

What am I doing wrong? I've never received more than the standard points back when I buy something online at Sears.

A couple days ago I bought those wobble extensions with the 5395 points back.

Sure enough, today I log in to find 3400 point on my account. Chatted with Sears and they credited me 2000 points. Yeah, it's only two bucks, but for the time I spent on chat and holding Sears to their word it was worth it.

On to the next deal!

29.99 for 3 pry bar set of the Craftsman Professional bars. I had 10 dollars in points so it was 20 bucks for the 3 bar set. Seemed like a good deal.

Any cheap filler items? I have $6 in rewards points on a $30 or more purchase. I haven't really gotten any good rewards in about a 2 months. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong since I was getting them there every week for a while. I'd really like to pick of these pry bars, so I'm debating if I should order them now, or if I should wait and see if I get better surprise points this week.

^ ^ Carpenter pencil is my standby "filler" item as it's 99 cents and just add another if I need $2 to reach a threshhold for SYW points.

Yep, Carpenter Pencils, Micro-Clamps, as well as Craftsman Keychains (Made in USA) are decent go to fillers. :D

Anybody use one of these? If the light part was designed correctly, that could be a very useful gadget.

The light on that mirror has helped me out on a number of occasions. Specifically while brazing refrigerant lines. I was skeptical because the light shines kinda weird directions, but above a drop ceiling or even on a rooftop to check the underside of your weld that thing was a total lifesaver. It is not however, strong enough to withstand the heat of molten silver solder. I continued to use it for almost 6 months before I can go back and revise it under the craftsman warranty. I have spares, we'll leave it at that.

I have one from Craftsman, Made in USA with Global Components, the mirror is very susceptible to cracking, even if you're really careful with handling it. The mirror is recessed in a outer plastic rim--thus making it less rugged

The white/gray 30" Gladiator wall cabinets are down to $99.99, hot buy. This is the cheapest I have found these. They are limited to store stock it seems, and I'd wager that they're on their way to being discontinued. Still, I think they're much better looking than that faux diamond plate on the regular Gladiator cabinets.

I bought 3, in addition to 2 I already have. I'm going to replace the 5 dark gray/diamond plate cabinets on my wall with these. It might be foolish, because once I move I may want more (matching) cabinets, but I might not either.

All of the ones I have seen have been a glass mirror in a metal frame with the plastic light cover over the metal frame.

The light is worthless on that mirror unless you just need it to see a few inches.

I threw them up on Craigslist for $80 each, firm. It might take me a month or two to sell them, but I'm pretty confident they will sell. That only puts me out $10-15 each for the upgrade after points earned, plus or course my time in emptying and removing the old cabinets and hanging the new.

I'll also add that I cleared the inventory from 3 different stores to get all 5. Sears.com always shows one less than what the store has in stock, so I know each store has at least one more, but it might be the display. I might be tempted to buy them when I pick these others up, we'll see.

I didn't figure I'd get $80 each out of them. Please keep me updated on the Craigslist sale. I might go ahead and pick up a few and return them if I can't sell my current ones. The 2 closest stores to me each have 2 (I have 4 total), so this may work out.

Miter saw stand. Hot buy. 59.99 down from 99.99. I picked one up over the weekend. Haven't unpacked it yet, but I'm sure it will be easier to set up than my old door and saw horse solution.

Gave one to my dad for father's day this year, it works quite well! I used it for a few days building stairs for a front deck and the telescoping ends worked very nicely to cut boards to the same length.

I noticed the white/gray ones (only) are no longer listed as a hot buy, so $ off coupons will apply. Wish I waited! Also, I have 2 very interested buyers in all 5 of my used cabinets. One already offered $325, which I countered with $375. They might be sold by the weekend! I'm not even sure when I'm going to make time to clear them all out!

What series? Looks like it sat around on a shelf for a spell before making it to the big show.

Not sure how good a deal these are, but they were a steal for me with surprise points
Craftsman 10 pc., 6 pt. 3/8 in. Standard Socket Wrench Set -- $9.99
http://www.sears.com/craftsman-10-p...SellerId=Sears&prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1

Craftsman 10 pc. 6 pt. 3/8 in. Metric Socket Wrench Set -- $9.99
http://www.sears.com/craftsman-10-p...SellerId=Sears&prdNo=2&blockNo=2&blockType=G2

Also, my Sears had a new line of Craftsman tool chests that support 200 lb per drawer and the pricing wasn't too bad either... Am I late in the game learning about this?

If the $29.99 Pro set was priced too high for your taste, then this is on sale:

Craftsman 3 PC. PRY BAR SET WITH STRIKE CAP $19.99

No 'Hot Buy' tag to block your dollar-off coupons.
