proabably similar to other stores prices, but good for small amounts of expiring points

Gorilla Glue 2oz - $4.12

Gorilla Tape to go - $4.72

Yep. The Gorilla Tape is one of my go-to items for expiring points.

I've got enough Gorilla Tape to wrap a Gorilla with. :)

The glue is great also, but once you crack open the seal it dries out pretty quick, so need to use up the bottle within a few weeks or it turns into a block of cement.

Got this today. It was the tethered to the countertop display tool so no blow-molded box, no accessories, but it was only $10. Looks like it's the model 3000 Dremel rotary tool. Ten variable speeds on a sliding switch, 1.2 amps 5000-32,000 rpm/min. The nose cap unscrews and is the wrench for tightening/loosening the collet. The tool works fine.

https://www.dremel.com/en_US/products/-/show-product/tools/3000-variable-speed-rotary-tool

Sears Craftsman-branded Dremel 3000:
http://www.sears.com/craftsman-vari...A&gclsrc=ds&dclid=CO3Ox4iV1NsCFQTfwAodrj8JrA#

I also got a Dremel MM40 orbital tool, it needs brushes ($5.98 pr @ ereplacementparts.com) and a 120V power cord (I'll use one I clipped from a recycled appliance), but I'm expecting it will work after that. Also the tethered to the countertop display tool (Two and a half amps, 10,000-21,000 oscillations/min. via a rotary dial). No-tool needed blade change. Another $10 tool. Already ordered the brushes.

https://www.dremel.com/en_US/products/-/show-product/tools/multi-max-mm40

Amazon has the 3000 rotary tool for ~$65 and the MM40 new model for ~$125. About 10% of retail, I'll take it.

Keep an eye on the price of those. Those go on sale for $19.99 every once in a while. My dad bought them a couple weeks ago or $19.99. They are a great set either way

-The Great

These used to be constantly on sale for $20(occasionally $18) but haven't been that low for months.

I bought a set of those prybars awhile ago after I saw them advertised on this thread, for the $19 price.

I saw this today:
Gladiator storage cabinets at 50% off for this 24" deep floor roller, and the 12" deep smaller wall-mount cabinets, single door also 50% off.

About a year ago, I bought a set of five of the 30" X 30" X 12" double-door Gladiator cabinets at the Ft. Lauderdale Sears. I stop in to check prices when I'm in the area, and not sure why, but they were <$90 apiece, and I bought all they had. That gave me a bunch of Save your Way points, and I got three of the Craftsman roller cabinets, two were drawers and one was two doors, and by the time it was all-done, those were <$90 apiece too! All brand-new in the box, no damage. They fit perfectly under my 24" deep X 8 ft long Craftsman workbench frame, which I covered with a 3/4" 4' X 8' piece of plywood ripped lengthwise, glued & screwed together, and covered w/a piece of 3/16" steel.

We just got done with a whole-house remodel and I was going to look for used cabinets and toolboxes on CL, but my wife, said, "go buy new, don't put old, scratched, dented garage storage into your new garage space!" Then I stopped at the Sears, and saw the 80% off storage pieces, a mix of better Craftsman and the Gladiators.

They're focusing on member-pricing this week, but some prices have gone lower during F&F events.

EDIT: Friend replied that the link didn't work for him, so try this new one:
http://www.sears.com/deals/center/hot-deals.html/dealGrid?adcell=sears-hdr&event=Craftsman%20Exclusives%7CSaver%20Days&soldBy=sears&sort=asc

I think I saw someone say they were hoping this would come back in stock:

Craftsman 3-PC. Flex Handle Breaker Bar Set $19.49
prod_17578390512

I noticed you may need to select a full-line store for pickup to get the new discount for some member prices.

Craftsman Sidewinder 25' Tape Measure $9.49 when shipping, but $8.99 when store pickup.

Yesterday when I was in one of the Miami FL area stores, I spoke w/one of the salespeople. I said that I had not seen that particular store on the list of stores to close. He said that as-far as he knew, it would not be closing. He said they had a many-year lease on the property, which was a stand-alone store, and included adjacent land.

In north Miami-Dade County, FL there was a huge Sears at what was, at one time, the largest mall in the USA, Aventura Mall, it came on-line shortly-before the Mall of the Americas in MN. That Sears location closed in Dec., which really-surprised me. The salesperson said that parcel was tied-to a KMart location, and when the KMart was sold, it included the Aventura Mall site. I'm too-lazy to research that further, but it sounds plausible. It was a large footprint of 2 stories in the mall, and an anchor store. I bought lots of tools and appliances there, clothes too. It also had the largest Sears auto service center I've ever-seen, and it was always busy, I bought a lot of Diehard batteries from them over the years.

Bummer. Placed an order yesterday to get 50 back on 125. I suppose if you price adjust and the total drops below 125, you lose those points, right?

If you received the points in your account already, and THEN you do a price adjust... Your points do not change... You can even ask that they price-adjust amount be given to you in points if you want...

EDIT - Wow, every item I've bought in the last month has dropped in price... I just made a list and it comes to $17.13 + tax... Guess I'll have to chat with them later today...

For me every item but one is now lower. I have never done the price adjust, is it difficult? It looks like mine comes out to a little over $20.

Not difficult at all. I just did price adjust on 3 orders through chat. Just have your order numbers ready for them. I asked for the amount back in points and the points are valid for 1 year.

It's easy for things that were originally purchased online. Use the Sears.com chat. But the chat people can no longer help for price adjustments on in-store purchases, you have to go back to a store to attempt that. It takes quite a while in-store and can only be done by a manager, and if you had the store price-match the website originally or had used a coupon originally, the store's system won't let them do it at all in the first case, and will unfairly (it doesn't work like this online) subtract the coupon value from the amount you get back in the latter case.

Just did my chat online, got my credit back in points (just so there wouldn't be any fuss).

Only thing I can say is make sure the item is 'sold by sears' when you are checking the price. I noticed a couple items it defaulted to 3rd party sellers and I had to change to sears to see what it's current price was.

Got about 12 dollars back on orders. For an "in-store", they said I would have to go in to egg cash, but could do points now. Since I originally paid online with points, and they then couldn't find it and shipped it to me, I was fine with points. So the instore may not be a hard/fast rule

So I did the chat, and got a refund from one of my purchases I just made yesterday. I used a $3 off $15 Freecash offer. So now I have a $0.29 off $15 Freecash offer remaining. I had seen the offer when I didn't use all of a specific Freecash offer, but never seen it be refunded.

Ball bearing drawers which are rated at 50 lbs. Five drawers, should be a good homeowners set and you can add a middle drawer set, or a base cabinet.

Look at this one, more $ but taller and deeper, also drawers rated at 2X your box under consideration:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-26-in-5-Drawer-Tool-Chest-Textured-Black-H5CH2LEC/206635941 $109

Your Craftsman choice is 37 lbs, the Husky is 70 lbs, I'd have to say you can infer that the Husky is probably built better, from heavier gauge material. Generally, when I see the Craftsman top chests with the plastic side handles, they are pretty-flimsy. The Husky appears to have 'proper' extruded aluminum side handles, a better feature at this price point. To me, the Husky holds more, and is what appears to be a better box.

For an additional $33, the Husky looks to be a better choice, and I think you will thank yourself for choosing the Husky over the Craftsman every time you open a loaded tool drawer in it. The difference is a dollar a pound, and you get twice the drawer rating, which one do you believe is built better, and will hold-up in-service longer?

The price seems good. $66.59 regular price $145. Thoughts? I could use something like this. I think this is new item - I never seen one that is completely black color like this.

Looks like a good box for low-frequency use;ncreasing organization of less frequently used tools; good specialty box - store your wood turning chisels or router bits.

It's gonna be a better deal than a $65 used box from CL.

Came out a few months ago, and I noticed SBD (they bought out Waterloo) is mentioned in the manual. Lowe's also sells this model, but it looks like also you get a "Made in USA" sticker at Lowe's!

It's the Standard-duty, so bottom of the line for their ball-bearing boxes. However, I noticed they raised the usual 30 lb limit for the drawers to 50 lb. Still, the Husky is definitely seems better.

If you have a $10 off coupon, it's $56.59 vs $109.

I don't have any freecash offers, so I asked my friends about it.

One of them replied that the extra 10% is NOT blocking his freecash at checkout. He said his freecash does disappear if he applies a $10 off coupon, but that makes sense because most (if not all) freecash offers exclude using coupons.

Maybe your freecash offer is not applicable on the item you're trying.

Yeah, normally the 10% off promos online are reflected in reduced sale prices, which don't interfere with any coupon/offer usage. It's only in-store that 10% off promos are applied at the register as an automatic coupon, which does interfere with using any other coupons and surprise points freecash offers.

I can verify this. I just combined surprise points with a Coupon and FREECASH on top of the sale price to get a Hulk Power (lol, I know) 20 gallon compressor for $331 with tax. Shipping was free since it was over $35 and the sale price was already better than both Home Depot and Amazon. I figured $95 in combined savings was worth it.

As far as the compressor goes, it's got the lowest dB and highest CFM ratings for my attached garage. It's a Chinese made unit offered through EMAX so I hope the quality or service is there. Dollar for dollar the ratings beat up on CAT well enough to give it a shot.

EDIT: I also got the $50 back in points plus the base point eligible. All in all, $54.** to spend on Knipex so it made for a heck of a deal.

Assuming they offer it again tomorrow, I was going to try the Sweeps Weekly freecash at the store. If you're sure the current 10% off works the same in-store as an F&F event, then I'll just use the freecash online as usual.

Nice! It's been a while since I've had surprise points and a coupon that stacked. And I guess by "FREECASH", you meant sweeps points?

Yes, Sweeps Points. I only had $4.** is Freecash since I recently placed an order and depleted roughly $14 worth. I was pleasantly surprised to see Surprise Points eligible and then thought, "What the heck, give a coupon a shot" and all three stacked.

Again, combined with the points back all in one lump sum it made for an unbeatable deal. Well, as long as the compressor isn't garbage it'll be a deal.

I'm not 100% sure, there is one person on SD saying this afternoon that the in-store 10% was applied as a coupon at the register as usual, but they were still able to use their $6 off $6 coupon from last month on the same transaction. :dunno: There is also a report of a store where the employees apparently didn't get the memo and didn't have the barcode to apply the 10%, and at least some stores are unusually busy with last-minute Father's Day shoppers this weekend, so it might be easier to just order online if you can't wait till Mon or Tue.

Going through getting my price matches now, 3 online orders that should be getting a total of about $6 back. One of them is General Tools 5-inch Digital Angle Finder with Analog Ruler, which I hadn't gotten around to testing yet, so I thought I'd better do that first... Someone (Doohickey?) ordered a similar General Tools product through Sears.com a few months ago ('digital protractor' rather than 'digital angle finder' IIRC), which arrived looking like it had been sitting in a warehouse for 10+ years, package all yellowed and the supplied battery dead, and had concerns about its accuracy after getting another battery. So I thought I'd report that I had none of these issues with this one. :) Fresh-looking package, working battery, and seems to be working within the advertised 0.3 degree accuracy.

Update: Price adjustment points successfully received. :)

Update 2: Only about 75% successful. Good ol' Sears. One of my 3 orders got the expected amount of points back. The other two orders both got shorted on the refunds, by nearly $1.50 total. I only had about $0.50 OOP total, so the rest of it probably isn't just coming back to my credit card despite telling them I wanted it all back in points, and it hasn't shown up as a partially-used offer either. I'll just settle for the $4.50 rather than go around in circles trying to get them to fix it. :dunno:

Also worth noting that the restored points appear to expire 14 days from today. (The points I used were originally 14-day points, but IIRC price adjustment points used to always last longer than that.)

On another topic, people making in-store and online purchases today, even with OOP spending, are still reporting not receiving any new offers/coupons with their receipt/order. It's been like this all week. Do post here whenever any of you start seeing the offer/coupon generation get back to normal.
