30 days for the gift card? The arrival time is after Xmas sales are over unless you shotgun an order for last Minute sales

Previous history with sears everything reverts to full price Dec 23-24 to get all the late shoppers

Don't do it. I have done the saveonall deals a few times in the past year and the last few times it has taken me 3 months and many emails to get my gift card. There is no one to call if you don't get the gift card, you just keep sending emails that may or may not get a response.

Yeah, that 'regular price' gift card thing has always been a risky trainwreck... it requires manual action by customer service people even under normal circumstances, it's not automated... and with the staffing cuts Sears has been making, it becomes increasingly likely that this probably-very-little-used queue will sit ignored for even longer.

Though that deal has been around for years... I've never done it.

Unless you already know what you're going to buy with the gift card... and are sure the item(s) will be available (unlike Knipex, for example)... only then might it work out. But if you're not sure what you'll buy with the gift card, the 10% bonus probably isn't worth the risk to lay out all that real money (Sears could liquidate before you spend it all, you might find the items cheaper elsewhere, etc.).

Thanks fella's. Talked some sense into me..Sale price it is.. Now as said above.. "Let's see if Sears can deliver it.."

if youre in the market for some power tools, sears has the same price as lowes/amazon/hd for this dewalt set though all bets are off for the next week due to BF. by the time you get a $1 filler and use a $20 RMN coupon, you might be $10 OOP which is a steal for some dewalt power tools

i got luckly and found a porter cable tool set at a hometown store and nabbed it for $27 OOP. cheapest i could find it for this BF would have been $150

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't need that set, but it got me looking at Dewalt tools and ended up getting the 9" grinder. Not quite as good a deal, but more useful to me at the moment, and only $20 OOP.

Right. I figure if I can maximize the freecash amounts amounts both when earning and redeeming them, I'm getting very nearly 50% off on both purchases. Can't hardly beat that anywhere else!

I have one... they are pretty handy... I actually use it a lot more than I expected to.

Cool. I liked that it has a blower mode, some omit that. Mission accomplished, and I also picked up my 48in Adjust-A-Square ordered last week. Still got one more $15 to use, but I'm going to have to wander the store some other time to figure out what to do with that one.

PS: For those who like to know, the Adjust-A-Square is made by Johnson for Craftsman, and just like they've recently done with the levels, production has now switched to China. Mine had to be freshly shipped to the store, so it is from China; dunno if the guy who beat me to the last one in stock last week got a US one or not. It still looks/feels very well-made, FWIW.

Man, if I had more points I would get one of those small vacuums... But right now I'm not hitting anything in SYW...

Same here. I have stopped playing except the $1-5 games and weekly sweeps.

Shoot, all the squares and levels I bought last week were shipped to store also. I didn't get the 48" Adjust-A-Square but I got two of the rafter squares, crossing my fingers those are still made is USA.

ordered this 14" pipe wrench last week for $4.16 as ship to store. just picked it up and its USA made so if it goes back down i recommend it

Now that is surprising! I had always assumed that MasterForge was one of those lesser-known brands that had been made in China all along, from how the price compared to the Craftsman pipe wrenches.

I think both the L-shaped T-squares and the triangular-shaped speed squares switched to China about a year ago, FWIW. They were all OOS for several months around this time last year, before reappearing earlier this year. The red speed square I bought when they reappeared had changed to China. The silver T-square I bought, the last one in my store before they disappeared last fall, was USA. The China ones are still quite nice though, not a noticeable change until you look at the 'made in' stamp.

well...upon further inspection, my item might be a mispick for this item. i didnt notice that i hadnt ordered the craftsman version since most of my recent deals have all been CM, but it definitely has p/n 51652 and craftsman on it, and i double checked my orders before i posted the link above, so i definitely ordered the MF item. hopefully someone else bought one of these and can confirm if maybe theyre misstocked or if i just got lucky

Aha, you did get lucky there! The stores' web order fulfillment people are under pressure to fulfill as many orders as possible, so they try to avoid cancellations as much as possible by either upgrading you to a better item if they were out of the lesser item you ordered (maybe someone had walked off with a MasterForge pipe wrench in their pants, lol) when you get lucky, or by sticking you with a damaged returned item that never should have made it back onto the shelf when you get unlucky (like me).

Yes, I posted about how to get each phase of the texting coupons/offers as they came out over the past week, and I was personally able to get all of them.

Many Thanks for that Hexen!

I got Turkey Freecash, Turkey Coupon, and Stuffing Coupon. Then had everyone I was having thanksgiving dinner with do the Turkey one and forward me the coupon. I redeemed a lot of them today on kids clothes and shoes, and the last pack of cobolt drill bits in my local store.

On the deal front, I did score 3 Craftsman 1" Silver Deming bits for 3.99 each, I wish my store had had the rest of the sizes.

There isn't anything on the coupon that says it can't be used at a hometown store, anyone have success using there?

Sears coupons never work at a HomeTown store because they aren't corporate owned... However if you print it out, sometimes they will honor it but it will take an override on the computer... YMMV...

Are these meters any good? This Klein meter looks similar for a couple bucks more.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Klein-T...o-Ranging-Digital-Clamp-Meter-CL310/207144577

A quick look at the specks reveals the Klein only reads AC Amps not DC amps while the Craftsman Meter claims to be able to do both. I think I may have found my next Digital Clamp meter. Been wanting one for a while to read amperage in both AC and DC for diagnosing Welding machines among other uses.

back to $10.87 and i just got $25 in points dropped on me ;) next $25 will be on cyber monday...heres hoping they still keep these hot deals up

I have not read the whole thread so I am hoping some one can clue me in as to how you get these points like this? From purchases or just because you are a special member? Please :Help:

I got one of the deals by texting TURKEY to the number for the buy $15.00 and get $15.00 off but that is all I have been able to get so far.

I think I just figured it out after a little more digging/reading.

I receive a response telling me to txt TURKEY to 73277, when I txt STUFFING. :wtf:

Or do you have to use that TURKEY coupon, before they will send the new one? Really doubt Sears systems are programmed that smart.

Same happens to me and I have already used the TURKEY code yesterday on the 2.5 gal shop vac. So I text TURKEY and get the same code I already used.

Yes, apparently you can only get STUFFING if you've already gotten at least one TURKEY, lol. It is odd that Sears is restricting it this way (the opposite of the kind of restriction we would've expected). I have used the first TURKEY, and have received but not yet used the second TURKEY, before I requested and received STUFFING. So I couldn't try it out-of-sequence myself, but I did see a couple people on SD run into the same thing you experienced. Going back to get TURKEY first (don't have to use it yet) and then trying STUFFING should fix it for you.

(Edit: Now I'm also seeing one person who says they did already do TURKEY but it still didn't fix it for them. Sears can't do anything without some glitches, I guess... maybe try STUFFING again tomorrow if you're in that situation.)

I wonder if there will be a 'dessert' code tomorrow, to finish the 'meal'.

Today 11/25 is the last day to use any of the in-store-only $15 texting coupons/offers you might still have. I'll be heading to the store today to use my last one.

Many Thanks for that Hexen!

That drill bit is unavailable online or in my area, you were lucky to find any. https://www.sears.com/craftsman-1-in-silver-deming-drill-bit/p-00966057000P

Looks like that whole product line is on its way out. This is the last size the website still sells (ship to home only): https://www.sears.com/craftsman-5-8-in-silver-deming-drill-bit/p-00966051000P

HF does have a well-reviewed set if you need other sizes.

i kinda like this deal. instead of trying to find stuff to make an order of 25/50/100 its anything up to $25 so if you just needed one smaller thing, bam, you get your $ back on it

20V cordless 1/4 impact driver and regular drill 2 tool combo kit for $99 -- $50 off. Plus SMW points. This is their own new line and not the Lowe's/Ace stuff, so it's not compatible I assume.

https://www.sears.com/20v-drill-and-impact-driver-combo-kit/p-A027414469

It says up to 300 pounds of torque. I assume that's a misprint since most of these 1/4 impact drivers are 1,500 in-lbs or about 120 lb-foot. Might be a great tool to pickup for a gift for someone if they're CM fans and likely not to need anymore power tools than these 2 drills. Otherwise, the Ryobi 2 drill set for $99 at HD is a wiser choice.

Heck if it really has 300 pounds of torque, maybe I will get this CM set. I need a stronger impact wrench type of drill.

Used my 10 off 25 on the GearWrench 7 pc. Standard Ratcheting Flex Head Combination Wrench Set. $19.99 with $20 back in points. Hoping the stars align on 12/3 when the kmart and sears points should both be active.
