The 20mm that I received definitely made the decision on which set of metric stubbies to get.

Well, I had already pretty much decided on SK stubbies, but now that I have one, the OCD is starting to tickle the back of my brain...

MUST

COMPLETE

SET!!

Man, I need to get a life.

Hey i already had a set of SK stubbies but it only went to 18 but now I had to buy a new green wrench rack and a 19 and 21 mm wrench. I also bought a 16 since it skipped the 16.

Picked up a couple oddities this morning. An S-K 73601 Spark plug wire puller and an S-K 70084 converted to a long handled stubby Phillips. That's the first wire puller I've seen and who ever modified the driver did an excellent job, it looks like it was done at the factory.

My S-K 1/4 set. I picked this up in a thrift store several years ago for a couple of dollars. Complete and in excellent condition. I searched google for the S-K 4915 model number and found an advertisement from 1975 featuring A.J. Foyt. This set was advertised at $15.98 in 1975 so I suspect this set is from earlier in the 1970s as inflation was pretty rampant back then. By the way, according to one inflation calculator based on the U.S. Consumer Price Index, $15.98 in 1975 is equivalent to $70.79 in 2014.

^I have that same set, but missing the handle and the long extension, neat little set. Glad to see yours is complete.

Here's the reason I'll be participating in SK Day. I picked this up for $2 at a pawn shop and it has since become my favorite wrench. Now I gotta have a full long pattern set. Not much of a deal now!

I will be adding more during the Epstein SK day. Wright is my normal "go to" but they don't make a lot of stuff that I need so I'm now on a SK kick.

How is the sk 1/4" 60t ratchet? I recently returned a gearwrench 84t because the drag was way worse then my dual80 tl72 and my armstrong maxx locking flex. Where do sk ratchets fit between craftsman/gearwrench and snap on or armstrong?

I like the light back drag on my 1/4" SK's, but they are all older vintage, so not sure if the new ones use the same spring weight...

The 1/4 drive Sk ratchets have extremely low back drag. Probably the best ratchet size they make. I have 5 brand new SK ratchets with the 60 tooth mechanism in it (several 3/8s in a 1/4 body that utilize the 1/4 drive gear system, and then a 1/4 drive too).

I'm waiting for sk day to get one of those 3/8 in 1/4 body ratchets. Glad you liked them enough to buy multiples. Got pics of em?

My S-K 1/4 set.

That is awesome, I just picked up the same set but it is SK Wayne missing the long extension and the spinner handle isn't original. It has no markings. There is a Proto 3" extension with the original 2". Guess I am on the hunt for a couple bits.

The paper in my lid has handwritten on the back side December 25, 1969

I finally have something to add to this thread.

Last week I picked up an SK roll from the Dresser years. It's an SAE roll, but was filled with Metric wrenches. It had 2 14mm's, but was missing the 8mm, 13mm, and 17mm (the 8mm is a Craftsman). Instead of a 21mm it has a 22mm.

I went back to the estate sale this week and found the 13mm and 17mm, so now I'm only missing the 8mm. EDIT : I found the 8mm at the flea market this morning, so now the roll is complete. The total cost ended up being under $30. :D

The pictures are before and after clean-up.

Just got this beauty today, some of these 45875 popped up on Amazon for $40, plus I had an Amazon $25 gift card, so $15 out of pocket. This is the Tuff 1 3/8 bent handle flex head. 72 tooth nice and smooth. Flex head is just right in the tightness dept. Discontinued but someone must have had excess shelf stock or something.
