I didn't know there was a lighted variant until I had printed several parts and later opened the file on my computer
Hate how the app displays things on phone vs PC
So, non-lighted version
CA glue arrives in the next hour or so and that's when I'll assemble it

I'm A computer guy... I never ever use my phone as a computer. Too many things don't fit or work in "mobile app versions".

First time printing TPU!
And because that wasn't enough, I said **** it and printed this shortly after
Kept hearing how bad it is pulling off the supports - I believe it but for this particular thing it was really easy
That was the worst part of the print, everything else looks good
Also glued up the lightsaber but, I'll wait to post pics until tomorrow

You're missing the little deflector scoop fins that stick up in front of the wheel.

Last night I fired up the P1S to make my final prototype of the indicator bracket for my hot rod build. It looks good in PLA so with a few minor tweaks I have the production version printing from PETG right now.

Just a few stands for the hell of it.
Still need to do stands for the 3DS, Gameboy Color, and find out where my Gameboy Advance is. May redo the stand for the Neo Geo Pocket Color and Game Gear.
Then I'll knock out a bunch of stands for all my consoles.

Gameboy! I mowed lawns in 6th grade to get one! Nice collection.Just a few stands for the hell of it.

Got tired of gridfinity socket holders that almost fit what I needed, so I started rolling my own. I'm about 2/3rds of the way to a full-up parameterized setup where you just put in a list of sockets, their diameters, an overall length, their names, a desired spacing between them, and a name...

I remember doing tons of chores for my aunt at her house until I finally got my Gameboy Pocket.
My DMG suffered permanent screen damage when my sister (a toddler at the time) grabbed it from my bed and ran to the bathtub my mom was filling for her. I was about 7 at the time.
Anyway, she ran in and chucked it into the bathtub while it was on (paused).
I remember playing for several years without the top 1/4 of the screen working
You know what that does to a kid? Makes you REALLY really good at games like Mortal Kombat, cause there's no health bar, and games like Metroid II.
Metroid took a bit to master because there are a few levels where you have to use your screw attack to constantly jump up and over some secret passages. Try doing all that blind cause the screen is blank!

I've been struggling with TPU the last few days. It just did not want to print well. I have had it in the dryer for days, build plates squeaky clean, temp tests, etc...
It was horrible with poor adhesion, under extrusion, and stringing all over the place!
Finally, it dawned on me. I am on a new computer. I thought I had transferred all my presets over, but sure enough, the TPU presets were missing. Speeds were way too high and the temps were off from what the filament needed. After recreating my old presets, it is printing brilliantly again!
I'm testing some settings for sew-in tags that feature my logo for the bags I make.
The bottom one was printed logo side down on a carbon texture plate, the middle logo side up, and the top was logo side up with ironing turned on. That one is my favorite of the three. It has a nice, even, matte finish.

Lets see, drive ten minutes to Lowe's, spend an hour for something that probably wasn't there despite several being listed in stock, and then drive back home--vs. 30 minutes of printing a few copies of a right angle bracket to shore up a cheap bookcase.
I chose the second option.
Gotta admit, the Bambu A1 has been 1000x more reliable and easier to use than the Flashforge AD5M that it replaced.

Your reply prompted me to read Wikipedia's Gameboy entry as I did not know which version was the DMG. Interesting to know that the Gameboy project was cancelled by Nintendo over Sharp's inability to deliver screens, but one rogue engineer stayed on the project and discovered a different prototype screen that Sharp was developing.

Having owned a very reliable AD5M, what issues did you have? Mine had no mechanical issues. Ha it's all good!
I actually replaced it although it's hard to tell if it's close to the same or not.
Yeah as soon as the next model came out, picture was improved dramatically getting rid of much of the ghosting issues it had. To think, back then we'd play on it for hours on end (I even had the light and speaker attachment) and now I'll only put an hour on any one of them at a time.
Was playing my FF5 from Gameboy Advance on my DS Lite though - the screen on the DS Lite is way more bright and crisp. Even nicer than another Gameboy Advance I had modded with an IPS display.

Is there a claim about belt life? 12,000 hours is 500 days nonstop, which seems like a lot for one of these things.
