ok thanksThanks, Monte.
I haven't used the Stahlwille 517 ratchet yet but its operation is pretty smooth and the flex-mechanism is great. Don't hesitate to buy it.
Only a few of the VBW pliers I bought were on sale. At the time I ordered the stuff, this year's first VBW promo was still valid. The only current VBW sale I'm aware of is this one. However, I can't complain about my Stahlwille/VBW dealer. He's always willing to offer attractive prices to me.
Thanks for the link to the new Promo !! The new red "X-Grip" pliers look good !! But i think i like the black ones with the red dipped handles better ?!!?!??! i dunno..... to have both designs would be good....

I always think about flex head ratchets.... still dunno if i need them..... if...then Stahlwille.....
ps: Does your VBW dealer stock these "centre cutters" ??? I like the design better than the others from the other company...

And since Stahlwille offers those wrenches from 6 to 41 mm I simply had to get the 41 mm wrench. Yep, that's crazy, even my dealer thinks so.
What is that for a dealer ???he should call Stahlwille so they can make some more sizes for you !!
My dad has such a "Meister (?) Handform" screwdriver. Green handle, PH1. I will take a photo of it as soon as possible.
cool !!!!!
Not all Ikea cabinets are created equally. In my opinion, the quality of the Faktum drawer cabinets (kitchen) is good but I would stay away from drawers of the Pax series. And, of course, you can get better quality if you are willing to pay higher prices. All in all, I think the price/performance ratio of Ikea products is good.
I´m already sold to a Hazet Assistent 179 with the Hazet "Cockpit" box attachmentso no ikea for me

No picture, yet.
I see you are not a real PB-fan.Monte, you really disappoint me.
later....later.... next Hoffmann sale .....
Correct, the information I gave was wrong/misleading. I was exclusively commenting on the Halder Supercraft with three component handle. That's the only Halder recoil-less hammer I own. My other recoil-less hammers are made by Gedore and PB.
also not that important ...a couple of millimeters.... 50mm Gedore hammer from the "Magic Promo" with spare head is on my wish list as the last recoilless hammer to purchase...
I'm tempted by the Fein BOP 6. As far as two speed drills are concerned, I will opt for a Duss in the long run. For a moment, I thought about buying a Metabo if I could get a good close-out-price but I wasn't thrilled about the ergonomics. The body is too big for my hands.
Duss or Fein for drills.....the others can´t build them![]()
I regularly use my 6" Festool ES 150/3 that way. Operating it (vertically) with one hand is definitely not a problem. Just give it a try. If a 6" ROS was on my list I would probably decide between Festool and RUPES. Metabo, Bosch and Makita could be an option if they were available for a lot less money from GB.
i think about the ETS 150/5. Rupes cost about the same so i would rather take the Festool. Or for a lot less the Metabo with the 2 orbital coarse/fine settings.......
How do you like your "Energieampel"?
Didn´t install it yet ........ next year maybe
... have to find a car lift first, install electric lines etc to see where to install it.....
Not to forget Ötscher. I like my dungarees.
made in Austria ?
PZ can also be found on electric devices, hardware (hinges etc.). To be honest, I think both PH and PZ are a must in (Central) Europe.
oops yes forgot the electric stuff..... PZ and SL/PZ or SL/PH.
The Ko-Ken 3715SLK T-handle is something I really can't be without, I believe. Monte, do you know if it's already available in Germany?
Didn´t ask the KoKen dealer yet. Maybe email Koken in Luxemburg or Mattes Werkzeuge. It seems to be available in Japan, many shops offer it, so i guess it will be available here too already....
@Monte
Those WGB box wrenches with handle ("Zugringschlüssel") you posted some while back, are those yours??? Do you plan to purchase the Gedore box wrenches with handle offered in the Magic promo? When will you get a 3/4" socket set?
no my fathers. He only has this one size for the hitch. I don´t plan to buy any of them. Instead of a 3/4" ratchet i might buy the extendable Hazet ratchet.... no extra sockets needed.....![]()
Which set of hooks and picks would you recommend in addition to the PB set? I also have two small hooks/picks from Genius. A buddy of mine liked the Genius 4 pieces set I had bought as a spare set, so I sold it to him. Now what to get:
Witte or Turnus?
Elora !I dunno, the blades of Witte + Turnus seem to be about similar, i think i prefer the bulkier shorter Turnus handles. I´ll let you know when i have the Elora 590S set
(next year
)......

BTW, Matador replied to my email within 30 minutes (!) but they didn't seem to be willing to share the origin of the 430 series wrenches with me.
the double ended swivel spanner (?) is from Taiwan i think. The new ones. The old ones say "Germany" and look german. The new ones look Taiwanese and without "Germany", different finish and laser etched name............
only found a pic of the old ones. The "Bauhaus" ones are different. Maybe they have 2 versions ??? You need to look at the wrenches before purchasing...... Also sometimes catalog images are quite old and you can see "W-Germany" or "West Germany" on tools (like in the pic below.....)....... so you don´t know what you´ll receive......

I wonder which company really made your Bergin SB 4001 L/R drill. The drill looks a lot like my trusty old Kress SBLR 2117 drill. Your Bergin could be the small brother/sister of my Kress drill. Yep, I'll post a picture of it
yeah a pic would be cool. The drill has a strange metal selector for drilling/percussion mode which i saw on ancient Kress drill.... I think some old "Uniropa" drills are also from Kress ?
I'll try to post a photo in order to clarify that.

), if the quality is as good as the old ones you made a good deal! I would also prefere to buy a french product instead of a nowhere product, it's a pity that Facom outsource so much now...
, but I've never been disapointed with one of their tool, nor my father did with 3O+ years old tools. A couple of warantied tools, without problem, just went to my local distributor with the broken tool, and went back with a new one, no question asked, no bill requested, no worries. But it seems it's not the case everywhere, maybe I just have a nice ditributor...
