how good is this brand?? its big old tube cutter
@Monte, next year me and my fiance are visiting Germany, it's my "homeland, but I haven't lived there since I was very very young, so I was wondering what are some tool store franchises in Germany that would be located all over the country, just like America's "Home Depot" and "Lowes". I don't really remember anything from there, because like I said, I was very young.

Btw in the catalog of 2012 the 4R are new.Now we need them with also a swivel head.
Monte these flare nut are awesome! Aren't they?
The bolt cutter looks good, i wonder if its from Austria as well ? i hopeThe new bolt cuter.
And a U2 in the gedore magic catalog.
take a look - sorry Ive got bad lights here and I just shot it with the phone.
NiceBought today. Proskit. Made in Taiwan. good quality

Woww!!! that a very good price for Germany BelzerThe tools are all made in Germany and I got the set on Ebay about 2-3 years ago for £25ish, which is around $40.

But you make it better than meOf course not.
I have the same problem. I try once to get some but all was very blurry. When I have time I'll try again.
Yes!! I'm agree with youNo. Sadly no. The gedore catilever was too expensive.
(btw the gedore are the best catilever that I've ever seen) but is very decent and durable enough.
Nothing wrong with this cantilever toolbox..I think it worth with the priceThis is one pastorino, probably from Taiwan. Once I had post some Photos. I repost them. More photos from the catilever when new tools will arrive.
It's not bad at all. It's not a gedore Also it was in a very good price. For 30-35 Euros (including the VAT, if I remember correctly) it was the only choice that I had. Following the facom (pretty much the same) with 50+vat and the unior (I don't remember the price).
Awesome self shootBut let's start from a blurry photo with a small box on the new catalog of
Now I think is much better.
Playing with the macro.
Playing with the macro NoII
I hope you enjoy.

Great!! that how professional tools fans make their decisionThere were other wrenches, but this one had "Germany" on it so it was the first choice.

Again..nice pics and Germany Belzer letter openerSo I'm going to spam some more from the Bahco outlet store.
Went there again today. They're putting stuff in the store when they find it as they're clearing out the buildings.
Another cool marketing item (that I did buy) was this letter opener. Made from a slotted screwdriver handle. 20:- SEK.
I have spent several months of tool budget there now. But I have also made some great deals.

yeah i know, No.2, No4, 2B, 304, 534, 7R, 7R XL, 7 R XS, 7 UR XL, 7 .....![]()
those 4R are pretty cool huh ? makes sense to buy these instead of ratcheting combination wrenches maybe ??? ...2 sizes for the price of.....? 2 ?? or 1.5 ??
Maybe a flex/swivel head ratcheting wrench come in 2014 ? But i think their line up is pretty awesome right now, with a short and even long ratcheting wrench and now the 4R, i think its the biggest line up of ratcheting wrenches in Europe ? AND made in germany.....
Who nows if the customers buy plenty of these wrenches maybe they´ll make a flex head wrench in the future.... (and SAE....)
The bolt cutter looks good, i wonder if its from Austria as well ? i hope
The new blue handles of the ratches looks nice too. My favoutrite colour![]()
cool. Great tools in unbeatable price. CongratulationSo I'm going to spam some more from the Bahco outlet store.

Very nice result !!!!!!ST350 without skin
Maybe I need Hammered finish paint for my new restoration project..T320 boxes..in their original Toyo Blue..
I still need a lot of work to remove rust..

very nice Toyo tool box collectionToyo is my favorite boxes to store my lovely tools especially when working outdoor
If you look carefully every boxes has a good "muscles" heavy duty construction, thick metal sheet, robust joint, precision metal stamping, good looks and many more..![]()

I fully agree with you.I believe that customers will buy these because they are serviceable and they have a very good price. Αt least are cheaper even than some imported. I think that with the previous sales of imported 7r etc gedore knows what the customers wants.
I' haven't the price of the new 4r yet but with the differences of previous I believe that they will be cheaper than 2 ratcheting combination. Yes 2 sizes for the price of 1.5 at least.
For me I ordered the reversible combination although I like better the straight (non reversible). I did that because I'm afraid that they will not be very comfortable with their 0 degree angle. Otherwise I would get the 4r for sure.
Yes their line up of ratcheting wrenches is very impressive especially because manufactures all on its own.
Ok all the catalog of Gedore is impressive with the quantity, the variety and the quality.![]()
bothAnother difficult decision for me. Knipex or Gedore?![]()
![]()
U2 ?
![]()
Will there also be a 4RU? that would be the one for me![]()
No the scraper came just with one blade. Lets see how long the blades will last. I remember back in the days the scraper cost 2/3 of the price that it costs nowbut some little voice inside my head told me that I had to buy it

New on forum, so just wanted to "sign" with some pictures.

Often the straight wrenches do work, but not always, so i think the best would be to have both types![]()
Gedore fits better to your collection i think![]()

Today is my first post on GJ, but I have followed this thread for a long time now. Thank you all for your views and information, and thanks especially to Monte for starting this thread, and adding so much information! My workshop is a bicycle repair shop in a small garden shead behind our house. Here is a Swiss-made Gressel bench vise, which is the heartbeat of the shop. Also shown are USAG wrenches and PB Swiss hex keys, and for clean-up, a nice Erzinger Bursten bench wiper and heavy-duty dust pan. These are the "essential" tools I have, and all are from Europe. I'll post more photos as I can, but wanted to make a modest introduction and say thanks to all once again!
someone know if matador sockets are imported or made in Germany, and how good they are?

Welcome! Great first post.
Finish on these look nice. How well does that "speed" open end work in practice? I've always wondered...
Welcome d.stole.Very nice set. I've been wanting some wrenches like that for the occasional loose nut that is hard to reach. How much did you pay?

Welcome, thanks for the photos, when you use the wrenches I'd appreciate your opinion on the design of open-ended, I've seen several wrenches with this type of design, and even videos, but I do not know how functional result

I like unior tools. Very very nice. Have you any other?
