That was what I thought it was going to be when I first saw pics of the cabinet.
Did not increase the value for me.
I’m with BMW, lost interest, afraid too many neighbors might be interested.

Picked up this parts/tool cabinet this afternoon, found on marketplace for $50. It's in pretty good condition, I believe it's late 40's or early 50's.
Major score just now, person on the next street over had it by the road with a sign marked “free” had a bunch of misc parts/fasteners/a couple small tools.
Ed, you totally and completely **** on the Powermatic 180 planer with knife grinder for $600!!!!
Ed nice pickup on the planer. I think I was at that sale earlier (and Provincial too) and there was some interesting woodworking tools and boat molds there.
Wow, that is a cool cabinet and looks to be in great condition. Just shelves inside? Great score.

Pic of the lock?
Yep just shelves, a couple extra plywood ones have been added at some point. Also does anyone know anything about cabinet locks? It has locks but no keys, the locks are stamped 2135 if that means anything?
I am confused ? Did you buy the bear cabinet or you were thinking about buying it?
No, I only thought it was cool til the Deadhead tie in came in to play.
The first shop I took a car to for tire work was called Bear Tire, had the huge bear on their sign. So a fond memory of learning about how tires got screwed up back then, chatting with their tech while he worked.
Kinda like this sign a few miles away, but it was in Azusa. This one goes back a ways into the 70's too.

Now I understand! If the Grateful Dead was the originator of the logo that would drive the price down for me but since they borrowed it, I still love the cabinet!
FREE is good! And those would be perfect for watching at home. Great debut!First time posting in this thread. Not really a garage sale, but coworker gave me two seats from the former home of Atlanta Braves Fulton County Stadium.

I hit an estate sale in the neighborhood last week a couple of times and spent $88.

Interesting Sale today. They didn't publish the address until an hour before opening--I felt lucky to get inside with the first group as #10.
In the LEFT-BEHIND (too rich for my blood...) category...
The brass thingie in Pic 2 is a Corps of Engineers Blasting Cap Detonator. The wires from the explosive connect to the two posts you see there and you twist that knurled knob to detonate.
On the installation instructions for the dispenser it says "dispenses any liquid that flows". What were these generally used for?More pics
