    I'm a old phoneman and used the terminal wrench my whole carear, 32 years, and still use them at home. We called it a #216 as it was in the catalog, Bell System stuff.

    thoughts on this compressor

    I'd take $250 cash in the pocket and say the belt guard is missing. OSHA wouldn't approve of that. Check the oil and see if not knocking on the compressor. Take three people for moving; 2 healthy biguns and one to carry the Band-Aids and to shut the tailgate.....TIM

    I got the 1430 Proto Hammer I bought new in 1969. You need to put green paint back on the handle, half way up to make it right.

    3/8 Drive Spinner?

    I have the stubby SO FRS70A 3/8 dr. and a MAC 1/4 " dr. and use them both. 3/8 is best for starting threads on spark plugs.

    I like your boxes. Scrub them down and use'em. I may be old fashion, but does your Sun Distributor Machine work? The electronic ignitions have just about made them become junk.

    I like those stubby's too. I was able to find the metric sets near Birmingham today and got two sets.

    I was in the Gadsden, AL Lowe's today for a kitchen faucet and after reading the GJ this AM I checked on the "Stubby Sets" on sale. I got a set of SAE for $9.98; they didn't have the metric set. I may check it out in another town this weekend. They look good for a backup box but may not need...

    If the screw had a "foot" to it it could be used for installing patches on an inner tube, tire repair.

    new to me, old little snap on box

    I think it is a K-21 box. I got one that was orginal gray color from late 30"s.

    Need help identifying old SO roller box

    Sandblast it and new paint is all it needs. I got one like it but better shape; made in the mid to late 40's. Orginal paint could have been red or gray.

    CL Find: Vintage Huot and Craftsman Toolboxes

    I got an eleven drawer box I bought new Jan.69 and I think it has the logo sticker. I 'm just keeping it below the bench for now and out of service since I got newer SO boxes. I like the yellow Pont.; I remember them running on the beach course of Daytona before the big NASCAR track was built.

    You did great on your buying. I got some of the same ridge pipe tools. I spent the night in Lockport, NY two weeks ago,looks like a fine little town to hang your hat, if you don't live in Dixie. Winters may be too cold for me.
