"supposedly" weather tech has one made for that purpose. Big enough to surround the whole snow blower, and you can drive the blower over it.

You can get some fairly large "boot trays" that will catch a bunch of it.

Maybe even think about going to 1 1/8" for board thickness. They will shrink a little when dry, and with starting at an inch gives you very little for processing. Just a little wander with the bandsaw blade will make boards unusable.

Correct about the missing chuck springs. My local ACE doesn't carry any that small. If you know a smoker, I hear "BIC" type lighters have a small spring in them that might work.
