Dimension needed for Gertsner Tool Chest.

I actually have a second that also needs a front panel. That one was done with black vinyl that needs to be recovered. Too bad the dimensions are different. I will make both panels at the same time. Anyone know of where I can get a shallow lock for the fronts? Gerstner has locks but none...

    No User Serviceable Parts Inside

Bought a Kitchenaid Proline toaster at a group sale for $5.00. Recent toasters don't do a very good job and take forever. We looked this one up online and it sells for almost $300.00. Brought it home and it didn't work right. Took it apart and cleaned it but nothing. Called Kitchenaid and...

Dimension needed for Gertsner Tool Chest.

I have a Gertsner Tool Chest that I picked up at an estate sale for very little money. It was missing a drawer and the wooden panel that goes over the drawers to secure it. I got the drawer made and now it's time for the front panel. My question is if anyone has one, what is the thickness of...

Need electric water heater - any advice?

I hate to tell you the bad news, but your 15 year olds will probably be gone in a few "short" years. They grow up so fast!

    Winter work jackets like Carhartt?

Got my last winter "jacket" there. It was from there scratch and dent section. Never found what the issue was and it's going three years later. BTW, sold my "used"carhart coat on ebay.

Need a new Circular Saw, but what to get?

Don't have a specific choice, but if you do go corded, I bet you can find some used bargains (maybe even new on ebay). People have really converted to cordless. Myself, I am older and have a bunch of tools with tails, and they will last the rest of my life.

    Ammo box projects?????

I have a large one that I use to store my grease guns-not a great use. I have gotten a couple plastic trays off amazon that fit inside them for assorted uses.

I also say soak it, time is your friend. I'm talking a month or two. I am not usually that patient, but time will help.

Drain clogged with hard white chunks

Many years ago, my parents kitchen sink clogged. Long run to main. Dad walked a couple blocks to the plumbers business to ask him to come up and clean out the pipe. (Dad didn't have two pipe wrenches big enough to unscrew them). Plumber went to the back room and came back and handed Dad two...

Snowblower in garage, keeping area clean

Usually here in Wisconsin the air is fairly dry in the winter so the melted snow evaporates quickly.

Is there any retail stores that sell your items? I've also always liked your tools.

Small dorm room tool kit for my niece.

I have a Freshman. I just put together a bunch of left over tools that would otherwise go into a garage sale. She didn't want the tool box to take up much space. I did spray bright orange spray paint on them so she would have a chance of getting them back. I told her after college she would...

Snowblower in garage, keeping area clean

"supposedly" weather tech has one made for that purpose. Big enough to surround the whole snow blower, and you can drive the blower over it.

Snowblower in garage, keeping area clean

You can get some fairly large "boot trays" that will catch a bunch of it.

How Should I Build a Cedar Chest?

Maybe even think about going to 1 1/8" for board thickness. They will shrink a little when dry, and with starting at an inch gives you very little for processing. Just a little wander with the bandsaw blade will make boards unusable.

Stanley No. 615 hand drill, need information please

Correct about the missing chuck springs. My local ACE doesn't carry any that small. If you know a smoker, I hear "BIC" type lighters have a small spring in them that might work.
