    TruContain vs AutofloorGuard

Need another way to control the slushy mess and am looking at containment mats. Anyone have any experience comparing Autofloorgaurd to Trucontain? I can get the 8'6"x20' for the autofloorgaurd for $217 on Amazon. The closest trucontain (9'x20') is $270. I missed the BF sale so unless that comes...

    Snowblower/lawnmower....

Looking for ideas (pictures!) of clever storage ideas for Lawnmower and Snowblowers. I found a few on the web where folks built a stand and parked one under the other. Would be nice not to have the snowblower drip all over the lawnmower though... Does anyone make a commercial product for this?

    Broadcast spreader?

Looking for a long-lasting, durable broadcast spreader for landscape purposes. This is for residential use and not even a huge lot just to use for overseeding, fertilizer, etc. Seems like most of the Scotts ones are junk these days (lots of plastic parts). I'd rather spend a bit more and get...

    Temporary driveway to garage (height)

Garage is done. During the process, they had to cut the driveway to make room to dig and pour footings. Now being winter, I can't get a new driveway done until the spring but would love to get the cars in. There is about a 8" difference in height between the dirt and the slab. Any ideas on a...

    Densifier/Sealer recommendations?

1 year old garage floor slab Unfortunately no vapor barrier underneath Will see 0* F to 100*F temperature ranges Looks for the best densifier and/or sealer to use on it. The look of concrete is fine - just want to protect it. Also, don't want the floors to be shiny after. Thanks!

Tuff-Seal Tiles and bottom up moisture?

Is there any consideration for moisture coming up through the slab with tuff seal tile? I know the big draw with these tiles is that they are water tight which is nice but does that mean there will be issues if moister is coming up through the slab? Oh and, man, are they expensive...

Legacy Industrial Floor Tiles - reviews?

I know there are some very popular floor tile options out there but one I can't find too much info about is Legacy Industrial's floor tile offering: This is the link to the drain version http://legacyindustrial.net/cart/drain-pattern-modular-garage-tile-p-287.html Seems to be a good contender...

Floor tiles (racedeck, garage flooring llc, etc)

Always thought that epoxy would be the go but have been leaning more towards some kind of plastic tile for installation ease and seemingly no issues. Live in an area with rain and snow so was thinking of the tiles with slits in it to allow water to flow through but this seems counter to my goal...

What lights do you have turn on when your door opens?

Getting a jackshaft motor that has a remote light that can be installed anywhere but not sure it will be enough light for exit, entry when the garage door is open. Should I just buy a few more of them (Liftmaster) or are there other options for motion lights that I should consider?

Overhang roof rafters for firewood, etc?

Recently took down a shed to make way for a new garage. On the old shed, the roof rafters on the back used to overhand the building a little bit. This little area underneath seemed to be useful to put firewood, etc. Wondering if this is a good idea for the new garage. if the overhang is done...

    Another size question

On the verge of building a 24' deep x 28' feet wide garage. My plan was to park two cars in it and use the left side for 2 work areas. The garage door would be offset to the right. Do you guys think that this is deep enough or am I making a mistake? We have a minivan and a sedan. Thank you...
