    Cargo Bikes.

I rode one all around a large factory delivering parts and supplies a couple of summers. They actually steer quite nicely. You just can't lean into a turn.

    The Ratchet Collection Thread

My meager but reliable ratchet collection. Two HUSKY's, three Craftsman and one Snap-On.

The roll away came out great. What did you use to clean up the drawer pulls? Oooops. Another Lazarus thread.

    DRAFT "Stickie" for Vintage Forum

What is that, 23/24 stickies? That's a LOT of stickies. Simple is usually better. Sometimes change is only the illusion of progress. I'm just sayin'.

    Iris Drawing Tool

Catchy little tool but have I got this right? If I have an idea for a product I can announce a "kickstarter" program and there are people who will just send me free money to develop it???

Show us Your Vintage Bench Grinders!!!!

My latest refurb. Dayton 1Z707-H 3/4 hp scored off CL for $15. Unknown date of manufacture but judging by the colors and design of the badly abused and almost unreadable oval tag I'd guess 60's, maybe older. Since this was to be a working replacement for my ancient General arbor grinder and the...

    Old Needle Nose Pliers

I've had one pair in my box since the late '70's and the other two were my dad's since I don't know when. The left one is marked with what appears to be ARAX and WEST GERMANY. The middle simply says Made In W. Germany. The right pair is marked with UTICA TOOLS 226P 6 1/2 UTICA, NY USA Any...

Ignition Tool and Cross Country Pliers

Nice little pliers. Thought I had the same ones but mine say WESTCRAFT. Probably circa 1950's. Long as I can remember they were always grouped with the Wizard ignition wrenches.

    Who uses Dremels?

It stopped running during use and wouldn't start up. I let it cool and it started, ran for about 15 sec. then shut off wouldn't start. I checked brushes, they looked good, put them back, unit started but wouldn't go full speed then shut off. Now it won't start at all.

    Who uses Dremels?

After God knows how many years my Dremel Multi Pro finally gave up the ghost. After searching around it seems that model no longer exists. Too bad, it was GREAT. With all the different models now available I can't figure out which one would be comparable to the Multi Pro. Any thoughts or...

    Screwdrivers

Being the C.O.B. that I am I couldn't see spending $20 or $30 for draw organisers. So I took some aluminum angle I had laying around, drilled some holes, cut some slots and boom, there it was. Now I don't have to sift through a drawer full of mixed up screwdrivers, nut drivers and Torx drivers.

    Adding an outlet question

I figured it out. #4 red wire is constant hot. #1 black wire goes hot when the garage switch is activated and #3 black wire goes hot when the house switch is turned on. So since I don't need constant power to the outlet I'll just use the #1 black, the white and the ground to the outlet. Piece...

    1/2 HP Block should I ?

Definitely take it. The wheels are worth more than that. But offer him $20 first. He'll most likely take is.

    Adding an outlet question

I have this switch box in my garage that turns on an outside light over the door. There is also another switch inside the house wire in to also turn on the same light. My intent is to install an outside outlet on the directly behind the pictured switch in the garage and power it with the same...

Hollow Handle (Wooden, also Steel) Combination Tool and Bits

There must have been several companies up in Connecticut making them. I have this one made by Sargent & Co. patented on Aug,12,1884 by G.W. Wright in New Haven, Ct. Almost identical. Wright too had several patents in his name on behalf of Sargent & Co. He and Fray probably knew each other...
