Bought this box in February. I'd been keeping my eye out for this model. A friend's dad had one like this that I remembered when I was a teenager. Always liked it. Sanded it with a Ryobi sander and wet sanded with 60, 150, and 320 grit paper. Used Walmart regular black...

First trip to this pawnshop. Among my finds was a Craftsman 1 1/8" combo wrench, Cornwell 7/8" combo wrench, three Proto wrenches and a Plomb combo wrench. My first Plomb wrench, 15/16 and 1" combo Greatneck 3/8" ratchet and Blackhawk 1/2" extension And some older stuff... $30 for...

My first socket set, 3/8" drive, used to be my dad's. Still gets regular use. But the ratchet isn't a Fleet...and neither is the 6" ext....don't know what happened to the original ratchet. I never saw it. 1/2" drive ratchet and set, missing a couple sockets. This and some other stuff...

Just wondering, when people register, if you can force them to put in a location. If it's in the US, a state will do, in Canada, a province...but so we have some idea. That's one of the most frustrating things on here...when people post but there's no location. Members have been getting...

Last night on the local craigslist, saw an ad for a basically brand new bluepoint toolbox combo for $175 with ball bearing drawers of course... I saved the picture b/c I figured the ad wouldn't be up for long. Now I need another toolbox like I need a hole in the head, but for this price...

Saw this Craftsman toolbox combo for sale on craigslist. Thought I could use it as a spare toolbox, so I called the guy up and made an appt. to go look at it. He told me I'd see his truck in the driveway, but when I got there, driveway is empty. I knock on the door, no answer. Knock again...

$130 for everything. Fun part, arranging new tools in my toolbox. Not so fun part, taking them out of that damn plastic packaging.

I got up around 5:30, got over to Sears around six, Home Depot about 6:30, and Lowes around 7. Spent about $150. The only day of the year I go out of my way to shop. :shocking:

I'll start...this is an anvil for forming sheet metal. Made out of a piece of I-beam I got from the church down the street from my parent's house when they were building an addition. The stand is made from some old tubular steel a friend of mine had on his farm.
