    Bench Grinder Wire Wheel Adapters

I put a wire wheel on my Delta grinder. I just had to add a few washers to space it out, and do some trial and error to center/balance it to get it to stop vibrating. Some type of washer or spacer will fit the shaft to space the wire wheel out, you just need to find the right size.

Older Ridgid 4.5" Grinder with locking paddle and lighted plug

**SOLD** I have for sale a Ridgid grinder that I bought in 2006. I bought it "reconditioned", but it showed up looking brand new except for the "recon" stamp on the side. It has a paddle switch that can be locked on, which are not very common anymore due to OSHA rules. This grinder has the...

Do LED shop lights get dim over time?

Yes, LEDs will dim over time. The cheaper ones will dim faster than the expensive ones. I bought a bunch of cheap LEDs for my house 3 years ago. Some of them started failing, and I replaced a few with the same cheap ones, and replaced some with more expensive ones. To my surprise after only...

    Stubby full grip ratcheting screwdriver

Gearwrench makes ratcheting screwdrivers which are basically copies of Snap-on's handle design, except they have a 1/4" square hole in them and you fit whichever extension you want. So you can put the short 1/4" square extension or short 1/4" hex extension on the full handle or stubby handle...

    Felo Tools, any good?

I have a bunch of Felo wood handled drivers, and they've all held up well so far (only used them for about a year), but I have heard several people complain about the chrome chipping, including GermanToolReviews. As far as I can tell, about 2 years ago Felo changed from using a bright chrome...

    Felo Tools, any good?

I LOVE Felo screwdrivers. I own more of them than is healthy. The grips are the absolute best, in my opinion, and the business end is quality also. I manage crews installing electronic door hardware, which uses a lot of security-torx screws. We use Felo security torx screwdrivers, which are...

Garage computers, (TV) monitor behind the workbench ?

I bought a small "workstation" computer on craigslist for $100. I put the computer inside a base cabinet below my workbench, and mounted a monitor for it on a wall-mount so that it doesn't take up bench space. It works great, and is extremely handy. I can use it for listening to music (I have...

    Replacement screwdrivers

If you're going to hop onto the Wera bandwagon, do it right and buy one of the 12-14 piece sets from the getgo. Like you noticed, the 6 piece sets are kind of lacking, and the PH3 driver is like $15-$20 if you try to buy it individually. They have a few comprehensive screwdriver sets...

    Craftsman 19.2v C3 Fans

Same. My C3 jigsaw is still my main jigsaw. I switched to Makita, but the Makita jigsaw was like $200, so I just kept the C3. Now I'm using Metabo, and the Metabo jigsaw is like $160. But maybe if I can sell all my craftsman tools for $200... I can justify buying a single jigsaw, haha.

    Craftsman 19.2v C3 Fans

I have some C3 tools, and a Nextel 12v set as well. I should probably list them on eBay.

    Multi Tool Attachments - Sanding

I have a Makita multitool. I used it for sanding once and it was terrible. Slower than if I did it by hand. A real sander is not expensive, and will work much better.

    Favorite Milwaukee M12 Tools?

I invested into the M12 lineup for the ratchets and stubby impacts. The variety of M12 LED lights are great. I snagged some stick lights for cheap off eBay and they're great. They have a 1/4-20 thread on the back of them so you can mount a magnet to the back. I find myself using them a lot...

    Tekton Tool Boxes

They're a little pricey for the Tekton brand, IMO. Although the boxes do look nice. I like the drawer layout.

    Bandfile/finger sander

I've ordered 2 cheap bolt-on bandfile adapters for angle grinders. One was on eBay that came directly from China, and the other was from Amazon.de, although it is a chinese made product. Both of them showed up with M12 spindle adapters, even though both listings specifically said they were...

    Irwin Pliers Wrench impressions

I wonder what the weight difference is. One underappreciated feature of Knipex pliers is they're always shaving weight off. You can see clearly in the pictures that Knipex has made every part as small and light as it can be and still meet their strength requirements. Their pliers get lighter...

    Amazon Warehouse Condition Used-Acceptable

I order a lot of Amazon warehouse stuff. I've had mixed results, but mostly good. 90% of the tools I've bought looked new except for the packaging. Many of them don't look like they were ever used. One hammer I bought said it had "major cosmetic damage" and it just had some scratches on the...

FS: Complete Makita Cordless Tool Collection! 20 Tools & 10 batteries!

Up for sale is my entire collection of Makita cordless tools! For work/professional reasons I have replaced my cordless tools with Metabo, a more expensive brand, so I'm looking to sell the entire Makita collection. Going to try to sell it as one kit rather than piece it out...

    digital caliper with fractional readout

I have 2 pairs of calipers that I bought off Amazon, and both do fractionals. These are my favorite out of the 2 for the nice big display. I get about 2 years of battery life out of it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018D9JPPA/?tag=atomicindus08-20 They are $21 calipers, so not as...
